He is caring and friendly, too! His practice is very busy, so there's an efficiency needed to how he and his team see patients--don't expect to spend 15 minutes shooting the breeze. (During my consult, however, he spent at least 20 minutes with me answering questions and getting to know me.) Orthodontics is typically an 'in and out' process no matter where you go. It's important to note that I never had to wait more than 5 minutes past my appt time. I had braces in the 90's, but the ortho back then couldn't fix my open bite. In my early 40's my teeth were noticeably shifting and I decided to try Invisalign. I wanted a top doctor and after much research chose Dr. Markovitz as he's in the top 1% of Invisalign orthodontists. I did a consult at another ortho and the treatment quote was $2000 higher. Dr. Markovitz was realistic with me from the onset about what my treatment would and wouldn't achieve. I was in Invisalign about 15 months and had zero issues (full compliance is important). His team is amazing and I always felt in experienced hands. Taking my 6th grader in for a consult soon!

I scheduled, and due to my own fault, I missed the appointment. I called the next day after realizing it, and was met with the MOST rude office manager. She told me that I was blocked from making a new appointment because I missed my "new patient" appointment. I told her I'd been in once before and she said b/c it was an EMERGENCY appointment that I was still considered "new" (mind you this isn't my primary dentist but I was thinking of switching over) so they basically BANNED me for accidentally mixing up the date of my appointment. I went in the office to personally speak with someone in charge and to my surprise, the office manager didn't give the same energy she had over the phone once I dropped in- she then offered to speak with someone to see if I "could get rescheduled" which I later found out SHE could've easily done the reschedule. I don't know what type of games this office is playing, and everytime I've been in there they are empty- they should want the business. I called to the Towson office was promised a call back by the owners and that NEVER happened- that was a week ago. So, I'd say take your business elsewhere if you can.

When I came to get the cavities filled, I encountered more rudeness and impatience from Dr. Ajayi. When my daughter didn't do exactly what she asked her to do, she walked out of the room. The hygienist offered ways to help - smaller inserts for my daughter's mouth, cushions for my daughter to sit on to raise her, etc. Dr. Ajayi walked out of the room seven times!!! She spoke negatively about me and my daughter to the dental hygienist in front of my other daughter!!! I have never seen this type of unprofessionalism from a dentist! I am terribly disappointed by their lack of courtesy, compassion, and professionalism.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersen!…read more For nearly three weeks, I had severe pain in one of my back teeth along with what appeared to be a "lesion" on the inside of my gum. I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care.
