I snored so loud that I scared myself awake. If my one functional nostril was stuffed up, I became a mouth breather. Not too attractive, I know. NP Deana Yasso-Vander Vliet guided me through the diagnosis and explained all that was planned for my nose. She has a fine sense of humor and put me at ease throughout. Dr. Mark Toma performed the surgery to make this hole on the right side of my nose actually do something other than just sit there being a hole. All was explained to me before and after the operation. It's been an epiphany for me. BOTH nostrils are supposed to work. Imagine that. I recommend SE MI ENT and especially NP Y-VV & Dr. M. If you're not willing to stay on track or follow the rules don't bother coming. The doctor specializes in ears nose and throat and I like his personality. This is an office that is located downriver in Riverview on King Road. In addition he has his office on Inkster Road in Garden City.

I want to correct the total charges as their invoice is not easy to read and calculate…read more The charges charged was $650.00 in total, $426.84 out of pocket. But also wanted to add that I have called into the office and spoke to Tanya of whom is not pleasant to speak to, nor did she seem to care about my complaint about the service I received. She only insisted that they performed said tests and services, thus I need to pay! When trying to explain to her in detail, she hung up on me. A couple of days later, I called again and asked to speak to management, she said she would help me, I asked if she by chance was Tanya, she said yes, I said no, I would like to speak to management, she agreed she would give them a note to call, but here we are on 8-8-23, almost a month later and no contact from their office. But they sure mailed me a second demand for payment invoice. I have faxed them a letter in writing of my concerns and asked for a reply and still nothing. I have reached out to my insurance company to help, who said they would contact them, and again still nothing. At this point I can only feel that they do not care about the customers at all, and only want that MONEY! They have dumped their Hippocratic Oath all together! I would advised to find another E.N.T. office that actually cares about helping and caring for their customers in every aspect and are not in it for just the money!
