First off I want to say that I am not the type of person who takes negative reviews lightly and I wouldn't be posting this unless I truly believed that anyone interested in having surgery with Dr. Daniela Rodriguez should hear my personal experience. I think it's even more important considering she's a plastic surgeon. I did my due diligence into her education and board certifications. Everything checked out and she was recommended by a few friends and almost all of the reviews I could find on the internet were mostly positive. I didn't come across anything that seemed suspicious, or worrisome. I had my consult with her and her assistant Rhoda in January. I explained the reason I was there. I have always been unhappy with my profile and was interested in possibly getting a chin implant with neck Lipo. She examined me and agreed that I would benefit from an implant and made it seem very easy and straight forward. She said that she only uses one type of implant, one that doesn't have wings or is extended due to the facial nerves. In hindsight that should have been my first red flag because there are tons and tons of implant styles and shapes and only limiting yourself to one seemed kind of odd. I told her right off the bat that I loved the way my face looked from the front and I didn't want it to change. I only wanted projection from the side. I wanted it to be subtle and just wanted to balance my face a little more. She was very confident and reassuring that my front face wouldn't change much at all and she could give me the subtly I was seeking. Fast forward to after my surgery, I was horrified at my appearance. My chin was so large and created so much length to my face. It completely changed my whole look. It made me look very masculine and unnatural. I was devastated, depressed and didn't know what to do. I went in for my 1st month checkup and literally broke down crying in her office because I was so unhappy with my new appearance. She told me that she thought I looked beautiful and that I had to get used to my new look. Again her assistant Rhoda was in the room and whole heartily agreed with her. I just didn't know what to do. At first I thought okay maybe she's right but I knew in my heart that this was not the outcome I was promised by a long shot. I just felt completely brushed off. There was no mention of a revision or a solution other than removing it if I wasn't happy with it. She almost seemed offended that I wasn't happy. At that point I knew I had to start seeking second opinions because I completely lost all faith in her and her abilities. I reached out to a well known plastic surgeon in another state who's main specialty is facial implants. I gave the doctor all of the info and sent pictures. The doctor told me right away that in their professional opinion the implant was was too large for my face and was placed improperly causing the added vertical length. I decided to book my revision with the new doctor and part of the process is to have a CBCT scan done to get a clear image of my bone structure and the placement of the current implant. It was very clear on the scan how bad the implant was placed. It was at a 45 degree angle pointing downward versus the proper 90 degree angle it should have been. It was also crooked. I have already had my revision and my new implant with my new doctor looks beautiful. Dr. Rodriguez used a 9mm projection and was replaced with a much more fitting 5mm implant that was extended to blend into the jawline and screwed into place. This whole experience with Dr. Rodriguez has been very devastating for me. I barely left my house and fell into a depression. Not to mention the cost of a revision surgery. She may be good with certain surgeries but in my own opinion she has no business putting implants in anyones face. read more

After reading all of Dr. Rodriguez's amazing reviews and hearing so many good things about the results that other people have had, I called the office to schedule my appointent and was able to be fit right in with my schedule. The office itself is beautiful and looks like it's out of a design magazine. I had a lot of questions about getting a breast augmentation and Dr. Rodriguez and her assistant, Rhoda made all of my questions and concerns feel valid and I felt SO much better after the consult. I ended up booking my surgery the day of my first appointment. Recovery was very doable, especially with Dr. Rodriguez and her team to help me along the way!
