I tried several chiropractors when I lived in southern Marin and another few when I moved to Novato, but none of them spent more than five minutes on me, and they all expected me to come in several times a week. Dr. Lee spends a full 30 minutes working on my back (some insurance plans only cover 15 minutes, but I am lucky with mine) and does everything from a massage gun to TENS machine to hands on massages and adjustments. He listens to where I truly need help and makes adjustments based on what did or didn't work in previous sessions. I am feeling so much better since I started going here and I plan to be a long-term patient! The office is clean and inviting, and scheduling is easy (via call, text, or online).

I had been feeling pretty lost and frustrated without clear guidance or someone I could trust to steer me in the right direction for rehabbing my back and alleviating the pain. I've been going to physical therapy twice a week, and it has done nothing for me. Dr. Chappy has been a lifesaver, and I am forever grateful for his help and expertise. She was thoughtful, attentive, and clearly invested in helping me actually feel better -- not just getting through the appointment. I cannot recommend Montecito Chiropractic Center highly enough…read more After trying several chiropractors in California over the years, this is the first time I can genuinely say that I am completely satisfied--not only with the treatment, but with the entire approach to understanding and improving my overall condition. From the beginning, Dr. Altan impressed me with his professionalism, knowledge, precision, and attention to detail. What makes his approach so different is that treatment doesn't simply begin with an adjustment. There is a thorough evaluation first--including X-rays, posture analysis, spinal alignment, range of motion, the movement and position of the head, flexibility, and other assessments designed to understand what is actually happening with your body before deciding how to treat it. For me, that makes an enormous difference. I don't feel that I am receiving a generic chiropractic treatment; I feel that there is a real understanding of my individual situation and a clear purpose behind what Dr. Altan does. Most importantly, I can feel the results. My overall condition has improved, and for the first time after my previous experiences with chiropractic care, I truly feel confident that I am in the right hands. And I absolutely have to mention Tanya and Kenya. They are amazing. They bring warmth, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care to the office. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed and looked after. The combination of Dr. Altan's expertise and Tanya and Kenya's wonderful personalities makes the entire experience exceptional. I have already recommended Montecito Chiropractic to friends, and some of them have started going there as well. I would never recommend a healthcare practice to people I care about unless I truly believed in it. Dr. Altan, Tanya, and Kenya--you are an incredible team.
