I made several visits to my dentist through the years and a few to my PCP, no one could help me! In January, I developed a bump behind my molars so I decided to try the dentist again. After a visit to another dentist who referred me to an oral surgeon, I was told I had a cyst and an impacted wisdom tooth close to the jaw bone. It needed to be taken care of asap but another surgeon would need to do it. After an ordeal with finding an oral surgeon, an appointment with Dr.Krajekien was made. I was so defeated by the time I walked into his office and figured it would be the same old same old. He assured me that we were going to resolve this. He was so kind and compassionate and understanding. I told him what was happening and he told me about the VR that he uses in surgery that would show him exactly what was happening in my mouth. After dealing with this for so long and now adding the cyst to the problem and listening to Dr. Krajekien, I knew VR would be my best option. It would show the most accurate analysis of what was causing the tongue issue and help determine the best way to eliminate the cyst and hopefully the intense tingling. I walked out of his office with renewed hope!! He and his team were great with finding appointments that would fit into my husband's and I's busy schedule. Communication was great after I asked what was the best way to get in contact with him and his team. He went above and beyond for me. Due to insurance issues I was about to accept defeat. He would not let me quit! Dr.Krajekien went to bat for me and hit a grand slam! The day before the surgery at my pre op appointment he showed me the VR image and explained to me what was happening and what he was going to do. Amazing! The image he showed me made it crystal clear why my tongue felt the way it did. I was so nervous but so excited for the next day! The day of surgery he was upbeat making sure I was comfortable, happily answering any last minute questions. Once in the OR he was so kind and compassionate, making sure my anxiety was under control for the brief moments I was conscious. During surgery his team kept my family updated every step of the way. After surgery my jaw was still intact, my cyst and wisdom tooth gone and I felt no pain. The surgery went quickly and smoothly I believe due to the VR aspect in preparing for my surgery. In the days after surgery I was able to contact Dr.Krajekian with any questions or concerns. I am on day 7 of my recovery and have had very little pain and no tingling tongue!!! Later, I found a different oral surgeon and when I went back to get my x-rays, her staff refused to give them, then agreed to copy them for me (would not hand over the originals) and later I found out she had tried to bill my insurance $15 just for a photocopy of the x-rays. My swelling was unlike anything I've ever seen and I had cuts on the side of my mouth. Currently, I have shooting pains in all of my teeth, a jaw that won't open more than an inch, and tongue numbness that won't go away, presumably from Dr. Wazney damaging my lingual nerve. At my follow up appointment Dr. Wazney barely looked in my mouth and handed me a syringe without any instruction on how to use it to clean my tooth sockets. She is cold, rude, and the way she conducts surgery ensures the most painful and long recovery process. I would never recommend this doctor and would definitely say she has provided the worst medical experience I've had in my entire life. Update: I went to get a second opinion from a different surgeon. Turns out I had dry sockets for the entire week that Dr. Wazney failed to treat me for. The other surgeon also said my tongue may not recover for several months.

My teeth had been an ongoing issue for me, part genetice, part neglect ( I was teriffied of the dentist and avoided going) but two years ago I decided to do something about the pain and discomfort, so I contacted Clear Choice in Cleveland, Ohio for a consultation. The appointment was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At the consultation, they took full 360 degree X-rays of my teeth and jawline. They were able to clearly show me what was going on with my teeth and what could be done about it. I finially felt empowered with this information to make an informed decision about my dental health and I decided to move ahead with a full set (upper and lower) implants. You read a lot about the cost of the procedure, I had already spent countless dollars on root canals, bridges, crowns, etc..... The crowns and bridges either fell off or did not sit correctly in my mouth, thousand of dollars for NOTHING. When I saw what the implants could do for my dental health and my smile, I felt it was time to finially put myself first and deal with my fears. I felt the price was fair and I really did not want some "discount" dental shop selling me implants, I wanted the pain and suffering to be over! It was been two years this August since I had the implants, the whole process from beginning has been unbelievably positive. Dr. Ali Kanawati is what every dental professional should strive to be, compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding and nonjudgmental. EVERYONE at the dental center was professional, respectful, kind and caring. The customer service is phenomenal. My implants were completed in two stages, first the lower teeth were all pulled and then the temporary implants were screwed into place. Then about four months after I came back and had the uppers done. I choose the two stages because I was so nervous, but looking back that was unnecessary. There was very little pain, no brusing and from the moment they were screwed in, the implants looked great. I returned to the implant center yesterday 6/11/2015 because I noticed I was grinding my teeth and wanted to have them looked at. This visit is what was prompted me to write this review, nothing at the Clear Choice Dental Implant Center in Pepper Pike has changed, Jenn (sorry I do not know your last name), Dr. Kanawati, Mary and everyone else who works there, THANK YOU.
