On the day of my visit while in her waiting room her staff asked me out loud what my race is. Later Dr. Sbai came out to the waiting room and asked me out loud if I took the Covid vaccinations. I was racially discriminated against while seeking medical care. The Cook County mandate did not apply to doctors, patients, ER, Urgent Care, or Hospitals. Regardless, it wasn't a very good first impression & only solidified my initial thought of never returning as a patient again. Overall, when a patient thinks they're being "punked" from beginning to end, that's a good sign that it's time to write a review, in hopes that no one else will waste their time scheduling an appointment. She was every bit as nice and friendly when I arrived for my appointment. - Carolyn is the RMA who made me feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning of my exam. - Dr. Shahzad picked up right where Carolyn left off. He confirmed that I needed treatment for an upper respiratory infection and arranged for a prescription at my pharmacy close to home. What I don't understand is why Dr. Shahzad's score on the United Healthcare site is only 3 stars? This was the best experience I've ever had at a medical facility.
