Even though both times I visited were quieter than a normal day (e.g. the day before Thanksgiving), I found the atmosphere to be very welcoming. It was also an easy transition to come in as a guest. Having lived in several tech hub cities, the co-working spaces I'm used to tend to have a high-tech focus with minimal decor. openHAUS wasn't like that at all but I really appreciated the difference. There's a lot of interesting art dotted throughout and it's got a lived-in feel with many in-progress projects out in the open. There are desks claimed and occupied by the stuff of regulars, but besides that you get your choice of a place to settle for the day. There's clean bathrooms nearby and a kitchen stocked with coffee and tea, and even ramen if you really didn't want to step out for food. I heard there was a dedicated parking lot though it wasn't obvious, but street parking was easy enough. I'm glad I tried this place and would come back. I was able to take calls and attend work meetings just fine out of here, and I was able to pop out for lunch and come back without worrying about my stuff getting touched. Finally, I was also a little surprised that someone came with their dog, a big boxer looking one, but it was generally well behaved and didn't come around again after getting to sniff me in the butt.

" Wrong, the office said, "No changes, no early termination." It's just mean treatment during the pandemic when I'm working from home.
