As he was going through everything we brought, he educated us about gemstones, how the jewelry and auction industry works, how to maximize value when selling and his connections/resources for selling items and more--he was a wealth of information. It was obvious that he was a total professional who's been doing this for a long time. Plus, he was a really nice guy! He also took care of getting the gold pieces we didn't plan to auction or sell melted down and gave us a very favorable commission rate compared to what we would've gotten from a jewelry store or other company that liquidates gold.
