I wanted to sell an old engagement ring from a long ago unsuccessful marriage. I was shopping around for the best price. I had never been in a pawnshop before. When I walked in I was very surprised that it was nothing like what you see on TV. It was clean, well organized, so it looks like a high-end resale shop. One entire wall was lined with really nice designer bags. Another area were shelves with very attractive and new looking power tools of course there was a case with jewelry in it. Very easy to work with. Me and my husband are strapped for cash at the moment so we were trying to pawn our PlayStation. Other shops that I went to offered me less then adequate amount for it, and when I came here it was simple quick and easy with a decent amount of cash loaned to me. Process only took like 10 minutes super fast! The guy working , Luis was super nice and explained everything to me in detail about the process and due dates as well as fees. I am not someone who goes to pawn shops. This was my 2nd and 3rd time ever going into one. I have discovered though that there are times where it is a pretty convenient. I have a camera which I bought many years ago at Costco for a complete steal but fast forward a decade and I never use it because the lenses suck. I am just very over it. The thought of trying to get anything out of it on Ebay or Craigslist is a complete joke because people are terrible. To avoid the back and forth and flaky people who no show or try to waste your time negotiating since they are right there with you and figure you will give them the price they want. I felt bad going in 15 minutes before closing my first trip but I was heading over and had a bit of an accident. The gentleman behind the counter made a comment about it, being brutally honest, but I think it was more for the tragically insane lady the other clerk was trying to get rid of versus me. Mine was fast anyway since I ran out of the house so quickly that I failed to bring all the parts of the camera. He and I had some great chit chat while he hunted down my camera and gave me a great quote - I was happily getting more than I thought I would so I made a plan to bring it back soon which turned out to be the next evening. A friend and I were dining close by and going to an event. My helper from the day before was there and super sweet. It was nice already having the quote fresh and made for a fast transaction. While waiting I did look around a bit and I get why people shop and sell items at pawn shops. They have some great prices on guns, tools, jewelry - all kinds of unique stuff. Protip - you can save some bucks paying in cash. read more

Over about 20 years I have been to probably 6 different pawn shops. Even the famous one in Las Vegas. This pawn shop for some reason stands out. They have fantastic service. Honest and well pricing plus they negotiate. I've purchased things from this establishment as well as pawned when tight on money. They plastic wrap everything you Pawn, big or small and I have never lost an item. All in all this is the only pawn shop I visit now and highly recommend if you need a couple bucks or are looking for a deal. read more
