This place is awesome in Natick and somehow they managed to make it even better in Providence! My partner and I went into the Nightshift for an anniversary dinner, staff and the manager (who was awesome, but I didn't catch her name) went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible experience. All of our food was delicious despite some mixups but the staff will take care of any needs you may have! Level 99 is a great addition to Providence and just opened at Providence Place Mall this week. I had heard good things about the one in Natick so I was pumped to check it out. I went with a date last night and had no idea what to expect or where to begin, but thankfully they have a lot of employees around who will guide you to get started. You first have to register and create an account on one of their kiosks then select how long you want to play for. My date and I opted to play for 2 hours which was $29.99 per person. We were given wristbands which is what you use to get into game rooms (by scanning it). The wristbands also keep track of your points throughout although I'm not sure how accurate they are because I had more points than my date at the end and I swear he did better than me on most of the games, but I'll take it! There were a ton of game rooms. Some challenge you on a mental level and some on a physical level. If you want to play a game, you simply scan your wristband on the screen which will let you know if there is a wait time. All of the games we played had 0-5 minutes of a wait time. I don't know if it's because it just opened that wait times weren't bad, or if it's because we went on a weekday night , or if this is the norm? Even though there were a lot of people there, there are also so many game rooms to choose from that we could easily find a room that didn't have a wait time. I don't know if this will change in the future as it gains more popularity. There are icons on the screen that will tell you if it's a game that is physical or mental, if it requires communication skills with your partner, etc. so you at least have an idea of what kind of game you'll be playing. There are also hints on the screens that you can read prior to going in. Some of them were helpful, but some didn't make any sense or weren't helpful in my opinion. Once you enter the rooms, you kind of have to figure out what to do, which I guess is similar to an escape room? I've never been to one so not sure. If you fail at the challenge then the game will turn off and ask you to exit. Some games were pretty easy to figure out, but there were also some that lacked direction or ended as soon as it started. Even though we were there for two hours, the time went flying by because we were just going from one game room to another. All the games are pretty short so you move through them pretty quickly. I didn't even think to take any photos since I was so into the games and trying to maximize my time there. I think it's a good place to take a date lol - you get to learn a lot about your partner playing these games.. you can see how they work under pressure, their abilities, and their ability to communicate with you. Also a great place to go with friends or family to have some fun especially when the weather is crappy out. My date and I had a lot of fun. We were pretty sweaty by the end of it so I'd recommend dressing light. I wish I had known this prior to going. Overall, a good time! Highly recommend. read more

That was the most fun I've had in a long time. Each puzzle is very unique. They have local art with an I-spy thing attached to it. You can go up against someone in duels. And the rooms were my personal favorite. I went with my fiance, our friend, and her bf. Everything here was very challenging however we found a few rooms that we were able to beat. Definitely prepare by stretching and maybe even bringing a water bottle. They have free lockers to use which was necessary. Will definitely want to come back and rack up more points on our profiles. They have beer carts going around and a whole bar and aesthetic areas to sit eat, and relax!! Makes for epic photo backgrounds and just an all around great time. Let me start by saying, I wanted to like this place. I had done a similar activity in Lincoln, so I had a general idea of what I was walking into. Here's my scoop: PROS: - decent amount of rooms, some with some really unique challenges and great theming - big bar area to grab drinks, along with a food kiosk if you wanted a bite - awesome views of south/west Providence CONS: - it takes a solid 10+ minutes to get through the registration forms, waivers, etc. This could definitely be streamlined - this place was BUSY! I get that it just opened and my group came on a weekend, but we had to wait for almost every room - screaming children running around everywhere, not paying attention to where they're running - it seemed like 60% or more of the challenges were physical, and a few felt near impossible to beat - some of the challenges we failed immediately upon entering, for example, trying to fit our whole group on the tiny platform and someone stepping off to make room for others before the door was closed - at least 5 rooms were not available Overall, I'm in the middle. I'd be open to trying it again on a weekday with a smaller group. read more

Went with friends for a 40th birthday. It was so much fun. We spent 3 hours and only took breaks for water. Free water (thank you). Free lockers for your persona items (amazing). There were even free tampons/liners in the ladies room hygiene dispenser. Truly appreciated how accommodating the experience was. Like the Natick Level 99, this location is also in a mall, Providence Place to be exact and it sits on the top level close to the food court. ITs quite large inside and has similar rooms like the Natick location. I actually prefer this location since it was less crowded and seemed almost a more manageable size, although Natick is larger. The concept is the same, all sorts of challenge rooms and you swipe your bracelet and earn stars and coins by completing challenges of various difficulty. The staff here is nice and the place has lockers for free to store stuff and also plenty of space, plus the onsite Night Owl Bewing restaurant which we also tried and has creative cocktails and decent food for all. The prices are what you expect and give yourself at least 3 or more hours here. read more

We came as a large group and were absolutely overwhelming but the team handled us so well. I absolutely loved the pizza and the ranch was delicious. We sadly experienced a fire alarm but the team gave us an extra hour when the alarm only lasted about 20 minutes! They were so sweet and the blueberry soda was absolutely delicious! The Rooms are fun once u finally get in them..... went as a group of 4, spent most of our time waiting in line and dodging teenagers and small children. You would assume with an online reservation system that they wouldnt PACK the place but it was JAMMED. We didnt know exactly what we were getting into but with the promise of Craft Beer and Good food and a challenge it seemed like a fun idea. There was very little guidance(the beauty of GenZs interpersonal skills) no one gave you so much as a hint on where to go or what to do. Lines for each room where long two or three groups at each room, the beer was good but expensive and you didn't even get a pint. The bright spot was the food it was solid up scale pub food, took some time to get but when i came it was a good meal.
