Tamara is a hair color genius! She took my banded, bleach blonde hair from having a brassy tone to the perfect platinum I wanted. She's awesome to chat with and super gentle throughout the coloring process, which is important when you are going from dark brown to bright blonde. * The salon owner CONTINUALLY deletes my review from google! RUN! CRAZY hair even CRAZIER staff! DO NOT GO TO LEVEL UP !!!!!! Run for your LIFE and the life of your hair for that matter!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A BLONDE! RUN! Unfortunately I believed this to be an upscale salon that would offer amazing service, BOY was I wrong! I had to wait past my appointment time, and then met my "stylist" who not only bragged about knowing 1/2 of Hollywood, but would not stop talking. I asked her if she was comfortable doing my root touch up as my hair is BRIGHT WHITE, She said that she does platinum hair all the time, and then proceeded to put bleach on my hair for 10 minutes. I was shocked because normally it takes 45 minutes+ to process, but she insisted it had something to do with the FL water (LIE) and was an "advanced type of bleach".... of course my roots came out carrot orange. She delightfully charged me extra for Toner and a blowdry and style ( That I did NOT request). I awkwardly sat their as her coworkers bereatted her for messing up my hair. After asking her to fix my hair, she applied bleach to my wet hair, and let it sit for 1 1/2 hours, I was very uncomfortable and starving at this point. She forcefully kept trying to buy me lunch and offering to pick it up for me. This made me very uncomfortable. She insisted on me reading over menus of local places and then once I uncomfortably agreed to order food, she said she did not want to go there as SHE did not like that food and thought it was too expensive. Finally after 3 hours later I was starved, hood winked, and STILL having to listen to her japper away about how she was an EXPERT stylist and how "embarrassed" she was and how much she felt like crying for messing up... as if I WASNT THE VICTIM! Once she finally rinsed me and brought me back to the mirror.. my hair was coarser than a witch's broom and BRIGHT PURPLE! it then took her quite a while to soak out the purple from my hair (only like 10% of the purple came out) *my job doesn't allow unnatural hair color, and then she insisted of styling my hair . I practically had to swat her blow dryer away from my head! Later she unfortunately was allowed to give me the world's longest eye brow wax that left me red for DAYS! 4 hours later.... I was ready to leave! "thankfully" I got comped for the eyebrow wax (a WHOOPING $15 Savings!!) She should be awarded with letting out the world's biggest sigh as I entered in my payment information and clicked the "NO tip" button. I ran to the door to 1. escape & 2. find the nearest restaurant. But much to my wondering eyes should appear, my level up "stylist" blockading the door and crying. I awkwardly tried to push past her but she refused my exit and then BEGGED to know where I worked so she could drop off FREE product for my Sahara desert dry hair at no inconvience to me LOL... I insisted I needed to leave. She forced me to tell her and I, tired of being held hostage at a rubbish salon, begrudgingly told her. She then gave me her card and said to text her what I wanted and NEXT TIME she would give me 15% off services LMAO! I have never ran out the door faster in my life. The kicker of it all is that I specifically asked the receptionist if any of the stylists were EXPERIENCED doing platinum blonde hair. Oh and my fried hair? YUP going on FIVE (5) months later and I still have bleach induced micro bangs that refuse to grow! I did receive a refund by the salon after several days of emails and demanding my money back. They tried to gaslight me into believing my hair "wasn't that bad" and I had to threaten them withlegal action to get said refund. ALL IN ALL, SAVE YOURSELF AND YOU HAIR! Hair and Time are the only things you can't get back and unfortunately they took both of mine. read more
