There are a lot of contractors out there, and that's why I'd like to leave a review. We've worked with two other roofing contractors in the Omaha area that completed the work within a reasonable timeframe. However, their teams left a lot of debris for us to clean up. We had bats get into our attic on both occasions. For our third new roof project, we decided to go with Siefken Contracting. Jared was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. The only headache we had to endure was our insurance company fighting tooth and nail to not provide coverage. Jared and his team fought for us and communicated well. We have since moved to a new home and had to replace the roof again - lucky us. We went with Siefken for a second time. We had another great experience with their team. We're currently having Siefken replace the windows in our home. This is our first time using them outside of roofing, and their team has been great to work with once again. I can't sing their praises enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Omaha area.

The crew did fantastic work, and worked until dark for the 4 days they were there, but seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with the scope of work. But what they lacked in manpower, they made up for in sheer hard work. That said, Premier Home Designs was the least expensive and still offered the best product. And because of the communication issues we had, I was generously compensated after the job was completed. Gregg also helped me finance part of the roof and at 0% interest. That was a tremendous benefit and definately helped us out. I would hire again and recommend to friends and family.

Apparently there was no actual cement in the concrete mix so it wasn't hard like it should be. The next day Kirk had guys out there tearing up the concrete. They poured the patio again for a second time and this time they hand trimmed the lines instead of machine cuts! I will be using them again for sure! My dad (who poured concrete all his life) was in town while the work was being done. He agreed that these guys were top notch!

My spouse and I were happy with the plans Austin talked with us about and his pricing was reasonable. We decided to sign with him. If you don't read any further, consider another business as Austin doesn't communicate well, he doesn't show up when he says he will, and he doesn't pay attention to detail in his work. First thing we noticed was his contracts were not very detailed. It just had material prices and labor prices. There were no red flags at this point as he assured us he wouldn't leave the job until we were satisfied. When he called to say the project was starting, he told us it would be about 3 weeks barring any weather. Once the patio was done by the company he contracted, we didn't hear from him for 10 days. (There was no rain during those 10 days.) When I finally reached out to him, he said he would be there the next day, but it ended up being 3 days after. 1st red flag. Then when he finally showed up, he brought a new crew of guys that had never built a deck before. I understand everyone has to start somewhere. They would show up at our house and sit around waiting for Austin to show anywhere between 9 and 10 AM. He had to teach them what to do and then let them go so he could start on another part of our deck. He didn't monitor them well and many mistakes were made. He and his crew usually started packing up around 3 and left by 3:30 most days. 9 weeks later, the project was "complete". However, we had a list of 29 things that needed fixed. We had talked about some of them with Austin as the project was in progress, but only a few were fixed at that time. Some examples of the problems were un-level stairs, different heights on the railing posts, diagonal drain spouts, textured ceiling panels going in different directions, shades not hung level, and a corner of our patio that was broken off. This does not include the sloppy job of paint/stain, caulking, and screws breaking through the composite. When he told us the project was complete, we still had 2 more things on the list. His crew broke one of our sprinklers and the corner of our fascia is so warped that it doesn't meet together. He assured us he would come back and complete that even though he wanted our last payment. We trusted that he was an honest contractor as he had "mostly" fixed our other problems, so we paid him. We are now 3 months out from the beginning of the project in June. For the past 30 days, I have contacted him multiple times, he has told me on 8 different occasions that he will be out to finish and that his sprinkler guy will fix the sprinkler. No one has shown.

They were able to get guys out within a day to do the demo and a few days after that to complete the job. Great communication and friendly. The contractors actually cleaned up after themselves too! (Yes, I know they should do that anyway but in the past other contractors I have used did not.) Matt also advised that they provide maintenance and can do "odd" jobs. He had his crew come back and replace some ceiling fans and install some cupboards for me as well. Be very cautious…read more The townhouse is beautifully designed and in an ideal fun location, but the unit was placed on the market before construction was complete. What was supposed to be a simple 15-day close ultimately took nearly 60 days due to numerous unresolved deficiencies and quality issues. Project management was extremely poor and, at times, effectively nonexistent. Many issues that should have been addressed prior to listing were discovered only after entering escrow, resulting in delays and added costs. After the sale, warranty support was inadequate (I would say they did not honor a warranty). Legitimate warranty claims were disputed, and in some cases false accusations were made without the project team even coming out to inspect the issues. Contractual deadlines for completing outstanding work were missed by a wide margin with lots of disruptions. If you choose to work with MWC, I strongly recommend closely vetting the project manager and ensuring you have a rock-solid contract that clearly defines quality standards, accountability, and firm completion timelines.
