Good company with good paying jobs. All of the work was straight forward and easy to understand. I would definitely work there again.

You need Karen Winn!!…read more I was lost, discouraged and disappointed before I was connected with Karen through a friend. I had been searching for a job that would not only challenge and make a better professional out of me, but one that paid a dignified salary. Karen was not only effective at pairing me to the perfect company, she is with you throughout the whole process. She called and reassured me that I will absolutely get hired by an amazing company and that I should believe it. Every two days she would touch base with her cheery personality and motivated. She also prepped me for my interview and ... I GOT THE JOB! Karen's work wasn't over though. She called to celebrate with me over the phone and promised to walk in with me on my first day. I can say she's magical. It's a win win with Karen Winn

Triumph Professional Staffing is a recruiting agency with 2 offices. They are both in Florida and…read morethis is the headquarters. Over the past 3 months I received 3 messages from Bill Ferguson, a sneaky recruiter who never signs his emails with a specific location but that I quickly traced to Fort Lauderdale. He also never addresses me with my name but goes for the easy option: cut and paste. Bill Ferguson does not seem to know the difference between job titles so he only sends me laundry lists of jobs that would require relocation and that are for the most part unrelated with what I do (90% of the time or more). I just came across another one of those recruiters I refuse to work with because they do not read before contacting: useless and wasteful. Avoid at all costs. Avoid like the plague.

Cons/Overview - Lost 10 weeks of my working life with nothing to show for it. I first was approached by TekPartners for a job in the spring of 2016. The process went quickly. It started with a phone screen, then an onsite interview. I was called later that day with an offer for the job. I was clearly considered a great fit for the position. I signed an "Employee Work Assignment" for the role June 17th which indicated a June 20th start date. Since then, I was informed of many delays for various reasons, but I never heard the role was in danger of not materializing. I acted with the mindset that the role would come to fruition for me any day. Who wouldn't? Then, seemingly out of no-where, I was informed the role was no longer available as of September 1st. In that time I lost some things I'll never get back: 10 weeks (roughly 2 1/2 months) of... - active job searching and networking. How could I mindfully apply for new jobs when I have an active contract? - employment. This created a longer gap that I now needed to explain in future interviews. - potential income. Very significant, as I'm a mid-career professional. I understand things sometime fall through. However, what irks me the most, is that they said from the onset that they "encouraged me to keep active in the job search". They didn't...I understand why they didn't advise me to apply for other jobs because that'd probably feel very odd...encouraging someone to apply elsewhere when they've contracted with you. I received nothing but that rude, unapologetic letter from them. What's pretty backwards is that if I was to successfully refer one person to TekPartners in my salary range I would've received $600 for a "gold tip tier" referral (I received an "employee email" about this August 30th)...but since I patiently waited for 10 weeks to start a job that I had signed an employment agreement for I got nothing but heartache, frustration, and financial loss. I had completely forgot about this debacle and moved on...but then I got a tax document from them saying I had health insurance available to me during that time frame...really classy. I'm writing this to warn you if you're looking into contracting with them. It may do you more harm than good. Advice to management Be forthright with your contractors (they are your lifeblood), own up to your mistakes, compensate contractors when they experience significant losses through no fault of their own.

I did that (after finally reaching the correct email, because in the email address he gave me he had misspelled his last name) and never got a response. I called for a follow up and couldn't get in touch with him. I also applied online with this agency and was never contacted. I have a masters degree and plenty of professional work experience and have held desirable positions so clearly I thought I was a great match. I guess not. This place is unprofessional. When I called (on one of the several occasions) and asked to be connected with a specific person whom I was referred to, the person directing my call responded with "umm ya...ya...umm hold on". I wouldn't recommend this agency. They clearly don't value hiring anyone with professional experience or education and have zero followthrough.

In any case if you have a degree, you might as well apply to the company and not an employment agency like this one, like I said, they make you waste your time with their crappy jobs with low pay.

If one is looking for a job or to make a career change, regardless of your education or experience,…read morethey have a dedicated team of workforce professionals who can help guide you through every step of the process. The best part is that it's a free service offered to Florida residents. I needed help with both filing for unemployment benefits earlier in the year, just before everything was closed due to Covid-19 and then I needed help updating my resume. That was the purpose of today's visit. They have implemented a Covid-19 plan, so I had to wait in line outside, as they restricted occupancy. Once inside, I had my temperature taken and was told to use hand sanitizer they supplied. I was able to meet with a career counselor, review and update my resume, but was not able to print it. It's a great service and idea, but the process is slow and some of the workers are not as empathetic as they should be. The computer lab is also outdated, but still gets the job done.

I got rejected into WIOA bc I work 1 day a week, mind you I have no family, no child support, no nothing and 5 invisible disabilities. I cannot go back to EBD teaching bc of my underlying conditions. I was rejected to WIOA even though I'm on assistance. I was rejected to an internship bc they only help people with visible disabilities who have no experience in the work field. So, I asked what are my options, they said contact Placement. I contacted Placement and no one is calling me back, not even after WIOA woman emailed them along with fromt desk. It's a piece of garbage. Same with every single staffing agency I tried to work with. They won't help you outside of WIOA with zero income, if you're a single parent without custody, and if you have physical disabilities or no work experience.
