When I showed this to the associate, he dismissed it, saying it "must be wrong" because this store is a franchise and doesn't follow the same promotions as corporate. Fine--if that's how they run things, so be it. But what really stood out was the lack of effort. No attempt to sell me anything, no alternatives offered--just an easy $200+ sale walking right out the door. No name tag on the employee, no professionalism, just a poor experience all around. If you want to shop at GNC and are okay with paying a little extra to take advantage of their promos, just order online OR go to a different location. At least there, the deals actually work. I won't be back to this store. If the associate working here was employed at the store I run, he wouldn't be back at work on his next shift for turning away business.

The salesman was so kind and helpful. He really knew his stuff. He shares some of his favorites and one that I may like. I went home and it is amazing. After leaving the store I actually had a good feeling about myself, unlike going into most stores now where the kid behind the counter may just be on his phone or if you do get them to talk you get talked down on because you aren't an expert. Not Supplement World. It is different, you get a genuine feeling of care in there. So fast forward to this week. I get home after a long day at work not feeling the best and kind of in a down mood and I find a card from Supplement world. This isn't your average computer typed card. I opened it up and it was a hand written note from their CEO thanking me for coming in to the store and asking me how I liked the Bcaa I purchased. I was blown away by this and started sending pics of it to my friends saying who does this? I mean seriously to take time it of your day running a company to hand write a card to a customer who he does not know from Adam is very impressive in my opinion.
