I am in disbelief that "Dr." Man Kong Leung even has a license. I am my husband's primary caretaker, manager, facilitator of life since he is a permanently disabled gunshot victim. We unfortunately had to go through a very difficult lawsuit where my husband was almost murdered and of course our attorneys had to reach out to this doctor since he was treating him at the time. Dr. Leung called my husband on a SUNDAY and verbally assaulted him saying "I DONT DEAL WITH LAWYERS, WHY ARE THEY CONTACTING ME?!!" MIND YOU- we put in our intake form that we were in litigation, and any doctor that reacts like this always has something to hide and is unethical. It showed immediately. He should not be in medicine, he is a danger to those who he "treats." My jaw dropped as I heard this doctor who had been treating my husband the past year verbally and emotionally assault him. My experience with this office was consistently disorganized. The initial paperwork was a long, difficult PDF, communication was slow, and the phone visit had no set time. I was sent to an imaging center with a broken MRI unit and had to use an old, very loud trailer machine. After sending my MRI results to Dr. Leung and asking for his impressions before a trip, I never received a follow‑up. At my in‑person appointment three weeks later, the staff seemed unsure why I was there, and I waited nearly an hour without being seen. I eventually left. I wish I had thought to look this doctor up on yelp before trying to make an appointment for my father. Read the other reviews and believe them. This was the wildest and most inappropriate experience I have ever had with a doctor and his office or, for that matter, any "professional" establishment. Everything is done via email and text. Never was able to speak with anyone before the alleged appointment. They did not ask when we were available and instead gave us a day that the doctor would call. No time, no range of time--just that he would call. The first date we were given was not convenient as I was out of the country and advised them I needed to be on all calls. I am responsible for making my father's appointments and his memory/comprehension is poor (hence the reason for needing a neurologist). I was given another date, which happened to be the day after I returned home. Fine. Except the doctor decided to call my Dad on Saturday, two days before the alleged appointment. According to my Dad the doctor talked nonstop, didn't seem to listen, and told my Dad he needed to come in for tests. Somehow the doctor decided he needed specific tests without ever having seen my Dad or his MRI. Still no idea what tests as my directive to make sure I was present was ignored. When the office called me to make the appointment for "tests", I asked what exactly they were regarding. No one could tell me and instead they tried to make another appointment, a week later, for me to talk to the doctor. Because the doctor decided it was better for his schedule to call my Dad, without me, on a Saturday, we now had to wait another week and presumably pay for another appointment. After confronting the office about this they blamed ME for having even provided my father's phone number. You know, the actual patient's contact information that is often used as an identifier. No acknowledgement or responsibility taken for randomly calling my Dad after I specifically told them I needed an appointment date that would allow me to attend the call. A day after not getting a call from the doctor on the date THEY set, I received an email saying they are "sorry to not be able to meet my expectations" and my father's medical records have been shredded. I can only laugh at the lunacy. Yes, how dare I expect a DOCTOR to do what was promised and call on the date his office provided! Clearly my expectations are excessive. Honestly, I'm sorry to have wasted the several weeks that led to this, but glad it happened in the beginning, before we spent more time with what is obviously a disrespectful and unprofessional practice. In the summer of 2024, i was referred to Dr. Leung because I need help with a possible sleep apnea issue. The office staff is extremely dodgy, doesnt return calls, doesnt communicate with the doctor, and completely wasted my time. I paid $170 for a non refundable consultation, where Dr. Leung told me I need treatment, and then was ghosted. From July 2024 to November 2024 the office staff just gave me the run around, never followed up, and stopped returning my calls. My PCP called doctor leungs office to advocate for me, and they called me back after that. then, the run around again. here we are in January 2025, with no solution, and i havent heard from them in 2 months. The most unprofessional medical professional I've EVER experienced. Completely unresponsive office in the worst way possible. An MRI order was put in for me and he was never able to send over the rationale/clinical notes to insurance after MANY calls and voicemails from not only me, the MRI imaging office, my insurance, and even I received paper physical mail of this pending order marked urgent over the insurance needing clinical notes for this. I had to do all of the legwork trying to get a hold of this office (but was unsuccessful for nearly a month), coordinate with my own insurance on the authorization status, MRI office themselves, and even went as far as to going to this office so fed up with only for it to be locked and there was a ton of mail on their floor seemingly like no one was there for days. I was at such a loss of the unresponsiveness I had to escalate with my own insurance and MRI office to supervisor-level superiors in both instances to cancel this and get my MRI elsewhere through another doctor. The absolute worst bedside manner I've ever experienced from a medical professional after I tried to complain of this unresponsiveness in desperate need of this MRI and he had the audacity to snap at me after all that I've been through trying to get this done on my own saying he wasn't authorized to put in an order for this MRI this entire time and even said insurance denied it - which was absolutely NOT true after I had just been on the phone with my insurance just that same morning. All he needed to do was send over appropriate clinical notes and it would get authorized, and I had just confirmed with insurance this was NOT denied. He claims he was not the right doctor to put in the MRI order, but after speaking with insurance multiple times, he absolutely was able to complete this order. Please stay far away from here. Really hard to communicate with. This is a sleep medicine practice that takes Medi-Cal, so right off the bat, we know there are going to be issues. But we will make accommodations, because Medi-Cal has been known to reimburse medical providers with peanuts and dead squirrels instead of money. The facilities and test equipment are a little dated (again, peanuts and dead squirrels), but the technician they have running the studies is absolutely delightful and will make the whole experience as smooth for you as possible. Other people have said Dr. Leung is abrasive or unpleasant to talk to, and so forth. Whatever. He's a neurologist. They are commonly thought of by *other doctors* as being abrasive and condescending, so honestly, that's a plus for me. The problem is communicating with this freaking place. You have to leave a voice mail, and *maybe* someone will get back to you... eventually. And when you're scheduled for an over-the-phone follow-up appointment with Dr. Leung, you had better clear your calendar and do nothing but sit by your phone for twelve hours a day for a few days on either side of your appointment. As someone else said, he calls when it suits *him,* and if you're focused on pointless trivialities like brushing your teeth or your job when he calls, that's just tough cookies for you, and you'll have to wait another day or week or however long he feels like making you wait in order to talk to him again. And he will call *any* time. He'll call on a Sunday afternoon. So be ready. read more

I was trying to sign up my Mom as a new patient and they forced me to download and fill out 7 pages of forms plus insurance card and all, only to call the next day to tell me that they do not take this health provider. I wasted all this time on those forms just to hear that? This business model is WRONG and I did not appreciate the fact that I was NOT able to talk to the office staff to check on the insurance or the time of the appointment BEFORE I had to spend all this time on those forms. read more

Dr. Leung is an irresponsible doctor who should not treat patients. I describe my experiences when scheduling assessment and treatment for sleep apnea. My primary care physician, Dr. Nader Kaldas, referred me to him on 9 May 2017 for an initial appointment. My appointment with Dr. Leung was on 12 May 2017; on that date, he scheduled me for a sleep study on-site for the night of 30 June 2017 through the morning of 1 July 2017, and a follow-up appointment to discuss the assessment and treatment options on 24 July 2017. On 1 June 2017, his office sent me a message stating that I did not need authorization from my medical provider (Anthem Blue Cross), but that I needed to pay the $70 for the treatment. Dr Leung has the bedside manner of an abrasive rock - asking questions before you finish answering a previous question and misinterpreting what your'e saying as if you seem to be 7 years old and are trying to hide something. Finally, summarizing in an abrasive tone and saying "is that clear" as if you are unable to take in his apparently superior intellect. I went to college, I know what intellect is and he's not it. My dad got the referral from his primary care for sleep study early this year. It's almost the end of the year, and YES we finally got his sleep study done YES it took this long to get him scheduled and all the paperwork and authorization blah blah... By the way, if you are scheduled with Dr. Leung for teleconference there is no time set for you, dr. Will call at his availability regardless of what you are up to that day? I found it out extremely unprofessional. Second, his office never receives calls, you leave VM. Third, they charge good amount of $$$ for releasing medical records. Last, his office takes forever to get the whole process done, from dr. Appt. to medical prescription and follow up with the doctor. It's just so frustrating to deal with this facility. My dad diagnosed with significant obstructive sleep apnea and the Doc. told me that he needs CPAP as soon as possible. Again a medical device which supposed to be an urgent matter. I am writing this review on behalf of my sister Sonia who is a patient of Dr. Leung. He started treating her after her surgery for blocked vertebral arteries. Dr Leung has been absolutely amazing. His office usually set up follow up appointments but he still makes a phone call on a Saturday or Sunday on his own time to check up on his patients and how they are doing. He seems to have the patients charts with him and even if you miss a phone call, he leaves a text message, a voice mail and then follows up with another call. To me as someone who has been dealing with doctors most of my life is unprecedented and I greatly appreciate his care and concern for my sister and obviously his other patients. Doctors like him don't come along easily and don't get discouraged if his office will tell you that your first visit might be a virtual one or over the phone. Of course, this happened to my sister although that was during the end of covid but I was quite skeptical. But I realized that Dr. Leung did not want his patients to come to office until he could order some tests and follow up on it with an office visit or virtual as was deemed necessary. This is my experience at this jungle. Doctor treats you like a street person. Technician complains about pay and how bad the doctor treats her. Doctors asks me how was my technician 4 times, instead of asking how I feel. Beds are smelly and old. All equipment they use are centuries old. No water to drink. Dirty and filthy place. Do not go here! The billing staff is incompetent. I was seen here in January 2016 for a workers comp injury. I notified staff of this and they still asked me to provide my insurance cards copay. They assured me they would bill the workers comp company and take care of everything. I didn't hear anything from them and assumed they billed the workers comp company as instructed. Fast forward to December 22, 2016. They started calling me daily and sending repeat invoices. I've now left four voicemails and sent two letters the past 1.5 months and have not received any response from them other receiving the bill again on Feb 3rd 2017! Unacceptable. read more

This is a review of Dr. Leung and his sleep study office. I was referred here by my PCP to get a sleep study done. I was scheduled for my sleep study at 10 pm on a Friday night. Because they did not have me o to a consultation with the doctor prior to my sleep study I had not been to the office before. So, here I was at a little before 10pm on a Friday night - it's dark and rainy out - trying to find this little doctor office. I drive back and forth in this little medical office complex trying to read the addresses and figure out where I was supposed to be. It's dark and no one is around. I finally see what could be the right one but it's dark inside. I park, go up to the door and it's locked. I stand outside the office in the dark, cold and rainy night wondering what to do. After about 15 - 20 minute the tech person comes to the door to let me in. Thankfully, she was really nice and showed me to the room I'd be staying in and got me set up for the night. By the time it was time to go to sleep I was all wired up. She went to the next person who was there and set them up too. After it quieted down I was able to fall asleep and slept most of the night - only waking up once or twice because of the mattress from hell. I was woken up about 5:45 am, had all the wires taken off and was good to go. I went home and slept for another 5 or 6 hours. It took longer than the tech said it would to get the results. After about 2 1/2 weeks they called to set up a consultation with the doctor. At this appointment I finally met the doctor, Dr. Leung. He was nice in a boring kind of way. You could tell that he had done this many many times and so didn't have any interest in explanations or discussions. He said I had sleep apnea, explained why he came to that conclusion and advised the options. I don't think this took any longer than 5 minutes. I opted for a second sleep study to see if a CPAP machine would help me. Because of their schedule they couldn't get me in for another month. Finally, when the appointment came around I was to show up on a Thursday night at 11pm. I found the office this time with no problem. Except that no one came to the door to let me in. At about 11:15pm I got a phone call on my phone from the doctor's office that I was standing in front of asking if I knew I had an appointment with them that night. Once I told her that I was standing outside she came out to unlock the door to let me in. She then asked why I didn't knock and blamed me for not being let in. She then said she was in back with the first patient so couldn't hear my car drive up (the parking is within 5 feet of the door - you park right in front of their windows). She proceeds to set me up and when she holds the first mask up to my face to show me what it was I smelt the most awful, overpowering stench. I couldn't figure out if it was the mask or her hands! I finally figured out she must have had the glue from the eeg wires all over her hands which stunk so bad I almost got sick to my stomach! I quickly picked out a mask to use for the night and got into bed. I laid down and she turned on the CPAP machine the mask I was wearing was hooked up to. The first 45 minutes or so were excruciating because the air from the mask was cold, blowing at top speed and I had to fight the air to breath out. I was completely miserable, but due to exhaustion I fell asleep. I woke up an hour or two later after she had finally adjusted the air pressure and turned on the heated humidifier. The air was warm, lightly blowing and was slowing down letting me breath out without a struggle. I thought to myself - well THIS I could do. The rest of the night I dozed on and off. I was woken up around 6am and went home. It was another 2 or so weeks before the results and then scheduling the follow up appointment with Dr. Leung. At this appointment he was even more brief if that is possible. He said the CPAP machine helped my apnea according to the data. I said I'd try the at home cpap machine so he referred me to an equipment provider on my insurance. Unfortunately, he never explained that he was writing on the prescription a specific machine that I was to be provided with. He just told me to contact that equipment provider that we agreed upon. When I got to the equipment provided they were surprised that he didn't explain anything about the machine to me. I would have liked to have a part in the selection of a machine or at least been told by Dr. Leung what he was ordering for me! I've had the machine about 5 nights now and have yet to sleep an entire night with it - but this probably due to an adjustment period. I would not recommend this sleep study provider because he doesn't explain much, his office and sleep rooms are a bit worn out, and the second sleep tech was a little . . . um, dirty (literally dirty, her hands stunk, her scrubs needed washing and her shoes were brown from dirt.). read more

I would not refer anyone here. I wanted a copy of my reports and was told they would be mailed to me. When I didn't receive them, I called and was told I had to sign a release form for my own records and there is a charge. We are speaking of 2 tests I had done, not a whole file. I have never been charged by any office for copies of my test results. The tests were also very painful and I did not feel Dr. Leung was not very sympathetic telling me he had the smallest needle money can buy. read more

What a terrible experience. I would never return to see him again, because I felt that he did not care for me at all as a patient. I went for a neurology visit, and also regarding a sleep apnea diagnosed previously by another physician. Dr. Leung came to see me in such a hurry, and cared more to get out of the room than to provide any care. When I asked him a question, he blew it off and said to ask my PCP. He stormed out of the room, and before leaving, I realized I had one more question to ask him. I gently asked the front desk staff if I could ask him just one more question, but he refused to come out of his office (he didn't have any patients bc it was around the lunch hour). Honestly, I felt disrespected and was angry. I was going to give his staff an ear full, and then I read that his name is Man-Kong...that explains a lot- probably why he's not the happiest guy in the world. lol read more

I was referred here by my insurance and even called and told them my insurance details. They said they accept Medi-Cal Blue Cross and made me an appointment for just a few weeks later. This should have been red flag #1 because many neurologists have waiting lists of 3-4 months, but I was so hopeful and optimistic. If you have migraines, be aware that there is a very loud play yard for young children next door so you will hear screaming and a lot of sound. That's not the office's fault but it didn't make the visit any more fun, especially since I left with no relief. After I'd brought all the pages of information I had to fill out, gave them my card, and sat down to wait... I was called to the reception and informed that they do take Medi-Cal Blue Cross but not mine because I live in Santa Clara County. There are none available in Santa Clara County for my procedure, that's why I contacted my insurance and was given his information. Since I was already there, I guess they figured they could capitalize on my misery and offered to give me a consultation for $150. I didn't know it at the time but I found out it's actually illegal to charge people like me with NO income, on medi-cal, anything for services. Whatever, I moved on. Since Medi-Cal Blue Cross was unable to provide me with the services I need, not even a physical therapy appointment, I dropped Medi-Cal. So I had my advocate call for me today to ask for the price for the treatment. She was told they don't accept cash pay patients. Funny how when I was insured they were perfectly fine with charging me money. Now that I don't have insurance, they won't let me pay/won't help me at all. So no matter what I've tried, they're completely unable to serve me. It made me really question... what exactly is going on there?!? Very strange place... now I wouldn't trust them even if I could get the procedure there. I already ignored all the reviews of bad bedside manner to give them a chance but it is impossible for me to receive care there at all. Very sad... bad business. read more

I was recommended to Dr. Leung by my physician because of a head injury. I had so many problems with the receptionists, it took weeks to get an appointment on the books because she kept losing my contact information, or writing it down wrong (and in one case, she asked for my email address over the phone, and didn't think to write it down! She sent forms to a random person because she didn't think to write down my email address). My first appointment with Dr. Leung went ok. He seemed very bored, and didn't take much time to explain my condition to me, or the medications he was going to put me on, or the tests he was going to have me take. He had me schedule an appointment for 4 weeks from that date. 2 weeks later, I was having awful side effects from one of the medications (one of the side effects listed as "talk to your doctor immediately if you experience this"), so I called his office, and they couldn't schedule me in for 9 days! They didn't seem concerned, and they told me to continue taking the medication! With each appointment after that, Dr. Leung seemed to care less, and just seemed to want to get me out of his office. He didn't listen to me when I told him my symptoms, he'd diagnose me with more and more conditions, write more and more prescriptions, all while my symptoms still were from the head injury. He'd tell me I had an anxiety disorder, then write me a prescription for an antidepressant. (And while I was experiencing anxiety, it was a side effect of one of my medications that he was continuing to have me take. He completely ignored the major symptoms I had.) He didn't listen to my concerns, he would give cop-out answers to any and all questions I had. He just seemed to want me out of his office. His staff is also very unprofessional and rude! They'd gossip and talk about patients within earshot of the waiting room, and seemed even less inclined to be helpful than the doctor. One of the girls literally threw a prescription at me when I went to pick it up, and refused to let me ask the doctor one simple question about said prescription. I have had enough of that staff, I wouldn't recommend Dr. Leung to anyone, and I'm not going back. I'm going to a different doctor for a second opinion, and I'm now dealing with lasting side effects from pills Dr. Leung prescribed to me. read more

I saw Dr Leung for about 2 years. I've had terrible sleeping problems my entire adult life. Dr Leung started me on Ambien. It helped slightly. I needed something more effective. He switched me to Lunesta. That also helped slightly. It was better than nothing. I must've built up a tolerance to it though, because it became less and less effective over time. I have 2 different friends who take Xanax for sleep. I asked Dr Leung about trying that. He said it was very effective for sleep, but it was habit forming. That was a risk I was willing to take. He was not. He suggested I see a psychiatrist. I did that, and they put me on a prescription carousel. They wanted to try about 5 or 6 different meds, building up to Xanax. Some of those 5 or 6 were habit forming, some had weird side affects. It's all a scam to get more office visits. My insurance stopped covering the psychiatrist, and I had Lunesta refills left, so for the last couple months, I'd been using that with mild results. I ran out about a week ago and Walgreens faxed Dr Leung for a refill authorization. He declined it. I called the office to see if they could fill it, as I haven't slept well in over a week. She said I needed to be seen. The next available appointment was in January. I asked if they could give me a refill in the meantime. The receptionist said that I had told her I didn't want to see Dr Leung any more because he wasn't treating me effectively. This might be true, I don't remember. I explained that even a little bit of sleep if better than no sleep. She wouldn't authorize 1 refill while I waited for my appointment. They have absolutely no bedside manner. I'm going to ask my primary care physician for a referral to another sleep specialist. Lunesta and Ambien are both habit forming. If he knew the Xanax would work, what's the difference? Good sleep is habit forming too, and when it's gone, it makes life much more difficult. I know there are a lot of people abusing these medications. I don't understand why people with legitimate problems have to suffer for it though. Don't be afraid to treat your patients effectively, Doctor. I was referred to this office by my physician. My insurance is not so great: it has a huge deductible and I just payed it off and I had only 15 days for full benefit since it was already middle of December. It was critical to finish all the process within 15 days, in order to get the insurance benefit. When I contacted the office, the nurse immediately made an appointment with Dr. Leung, within two days. He was extremely professional, explaining everything about sleeping problems, and the procedures for diagnosis and treatment. I explained my situation that I really wish to finish everything by end of December. The sleep coordinator immediately helped me out to get the sleep study that night. It appears that someone just canceled the appointment and I might have been lucky. One thing to note is that the sleep coordinator clearly told me to knock on the door of that office (the sleep study took place exactly the same office I visited that day, so no confusion on office location at night). Perhaps, this was due to the earlier person's bad review on search for the location at dark night, etc. Anyways, I didn't have any problem finding the office at night because I just visited that day. The sleep nurse opened the door immediately as soon as I knocked the office door. The sleep study was generally okay and the bed was not 5 star hotel like. But, I could manage to sleep reasonably well with all kinds of wires on my body. In the paper, it was said that the diagnosis may take 10 days. So I was very surprised to hear the doctor's voice mail on my phone the next day, saying that my sleep apnea is very serious. So, I called him back immediately and asked what to do. He told me that he wants another sleep study, this time on a CPAP mask. He told me that he will help me out and made a schedule for another sleep study within 3 days! So I could get two sleep studies within a week! The next day, the doctor immediately sent all the prescriptions to the equipment company, which immediately made an appointment with a technician for a CPAP machine. Today I got it. Everything took place within a week + 1 day! I do appreciate Dr. Leung's kindness to understand my urgent situation and for doing everything he can to accelerate the process. read more

It is quite comical, always asking "do you understand? do you hear what I am saying? But I do understand, as he deals with my Mother who has dementia and sleep apnea. It is great Dr Leung can treat both. It is comical when he treats my husband and I the same way who are middle aged professionals... We both see him for our sleep apnea. He is very good at getting things ordered, your questions answered and sending you in the right direction for your supplies. Dr. Leung has shown incredible empathy for my migraines. My PCM referred me to Dr. Leung to act as my neurologist. I was skeptical at first because I thought a neurologist was just over the top for migraines, which I have suffered with for 20 years. Because of COVID it is a phone call. Dr. Leung does really well in a COVID environment, but I can assume some people would not like it. I love it! He schedules a phone call with you for, let's say Tuesday. He spends how ever much time he needs with all of his clients, so you aren't sure when he will call. But, he assures you, if you don't pick up he will call again and again and again, until it is convenient for the patient to accept the call. This is because he does not want to be rushed when he is talking to his patients. So, on our first call, he listened to all my symptoms, even though I had already sent them over, he asked what had worked in the past, other treatments I had received, etc. (I had a migraine when I visited my PCM and he prescribed something we will call XX.) Dr. Leung asked how XX had worked, and I said it was perfect. For obvious reasons, he and I decided to stay on XX. He told me that if I had any questions, or if XX stopped working, to call him. He scheduled a phone follow up for two months. Two days later, without asking or anything, a prescription for XX arrives in the mail. XX worked the next month, but the third month, no joy. Dr. Leung happened to call. He is really good about calling. I told him XX stopped working. He discussed alternatives, and we chose one. He called in my prescription, and that was that. He said he'd follow up in a month. Needless to say, the new prescription worked, then the next month didn't work. Dr. Leung, out of nowhere, called me on a SUNDAY! He said migraines don't take weekends. He explained, which I had researched on the internet, that sometimes meds will work once or twice, then stop. (This happens to me with other meds as well.) Another discussion, and we choose another course of action. This new stuff (YY) has worked three times. I expect it to eventually stop working, but let's hope not. Dr. Leung listens, and just picks up the phone to check in. I love it. I always answer. I would highly recommend him for migraines. I actually cried each time I had meds and they worked. It is life changing. And to know that he won't give up and say to just try the other stuff again, is a blessing. read more

The most deplorable initial visit to any doctor that I have ever had. It did not start off well as, upon arrival, the staff said they "did not receive" the pre-filled out New Patient package which I sent 8 days prior; it could have really been lost, I grant that. Then they added at that last minute another form, a legal arbitration agreement; this, though poor practice, is not an unusual practice, so may be okay. Then when I gave them my copy to copy, they said I am missing a page; when I checked what I gave them, it was there; this is a nit, of course, but the momentum was not good. The worst, however, was the doctor himself. He was abrupt, and interrupted my answers several times from the start, including "correcting" me as if I called him a different doctor's name when I was recalling who referred me. I also came with a 7 year old image and 4 year old image. The doctor did not look at the 4 year old image. He did not explain why he did not look at the image, even when I pointed the disk out. He gave me his conclusion upon checking the older image and a report that his staff pulled while I was there on another diagnostic test done 5 years ago. When he asked if I had further questions, I had a few that I knew were at best peripherally related, but they were both abruptly cut off, with emphasis on the abruptness, so I stopped. The entire meeting was brisk and cold, he seemed in a hurry and as if he simply wanted me out of there. It was surreal. Now, this visit was for purposes of checking out the complete picture on some symptoms that I experience and I did not expect anything to arise in this area, but the referral was at my family doctor's request, not mine. I at least wished to explore and feel comfortable with a doctor patient enough to listen and think. Maybe he is too good for good demeanor; but then, maybe not. I waited a few hours to let the experience sink in; but to not say anything would condone his behavior. (I am now intrigued as to why he added sleep specialization to his practice.) read more

Dr. Leung's staff is very reliable and consistently courteous. I have been very impressed with their prompt response and professionalism. I know that when I call their office with a question I will receive a response within a 24 hour period, if that. You can rely on his office staff which is a reflection of him. I am always a bit concerned when I see positive reviews pop up shortly after negative ones on Yelp as is the case with this doctor. Lets see what happens after this review. I brought my father in to see Dr. Leung and we were seated in the exam room. The office is fairly old and cold. Carpets, wall, furniture and equipment is pretty dirty and dingy, some of it giving off that mildew-ish feeling. Nonetheless, we waited.. and waited.. waited, and waited... for 40 minutes. At least a nurse came by at 20 minutes and asked if we would like any water or to use the restroom. But we kept waiting. Then around minute 53 ( I do keep track of time as I was on my lunch break), another nurse comes in and states Dr. Leung is tied up in an important procedure with another patient at the hospital and urged that we reschedule. And although I was initially frustrated and mostly disappointed- deep down I understood. This is a doctor and these things absolutely can happen. So, my father and I existed the room and as we were in the hallway, Dr. Leung pops open his office door behind me with a sales rep inside and lunch on the table! I was so taken aback I did not even know what to say or think. I mean, does he get paid for these things, to have those meetings while patients are waiting? The nurse kept ushering us out of there and to the reception area. I asked her, "Wasn't that Dr. Leung". She said "Yes, maybe he just came in." She did not even apologize or ask if we wanted to be seen then. I just told her to call me to reschedule and was out of there, never to return. I found another very nice doctor in Pleasanton to take my father to. I am in a way glad I had that experience. Who knows what kind of medical CARE my father would have received. read more

Dr. Man K Leung was my neurologist. I was referred to him by my primary doctor. Dr. Man K Leung is a wonderful person and a wonderful doctor. He took the time to listen and explain everything to me. Because of him I'm on the road to recovery. After he ordered an MRI for me he discovered major damage to many disks in my neck. He contacted me right away and got things moving in the right direction. I have no doubt that because of this man and the action he took to help me, and provide the medical treatment I needed, my health is moving in the right direction. Went to see Dr. Leung because of numbness/weakness in both my hands and feet in late July of 2013. On the first visit, he ran some neurological test on my feet/legs. He didn't find anything wrong with my feet from his equipment reading. So he asked me to go to a lab and had my blood drawn to check for any virus in my body. Went back to see him the following week for blood test result. Blood test result was clean. He then ran test on my hands/arms. Again, he declared nothing could be found except for mild level of carbral tunnel on my hands. He asked me to wear wrist support to alleviate the numbness/weakness of my hands. He didn't answer my question on why my legs were weak. He then offered to write me a referral to see a physical therapist to build my leg muscle. (I excercised and jogged regularly, so I was not convinced by his diagnostic about my weak leg muscle.) I specifically asked him could that be some pinched nerve on my back was causing thist? His answer was "nope, your nerve systems are just fine". He then asked me to see him again in three weeks. The following week, my condition deterioriated so rapaidly that I was having trouble walking/balancing and I could no longer hold a pen with my fingers. I was having very bad feeling that something was terribly wrong. I googled on the web and found information that was very similar to what I was experiencing. I went to see my family doctor and asked for referral to have a spinal cord MRI. The MRI result showed that I had cervical spinal cord stenosis with myelopathy. I had spinal cord decompression surgery on Aug 30 at Stanford Hospital. Even though I am still recovering from the surgery, 95% of the symptoms were gone after the surgery. I am very disappointed that Dr. Leung grossly misdiagnosed the issue. read more
