The grounds and mansion itself are both stunning and remarkably up-kept. The buffet spread was generous and varied. The staff was attentive and kind. It was nice to receive a complimentary mimosa as a mom upon arrival. We ate our fill and then were able to walk the grounds and see some of the areas of the mansion. Very much so appreciate the opportunity and thought this was an excellent way to celebrate Mother's Day.

It is an absolutely stunning space. Many of my guests walked in and could not stop remarking how great the place was. It is also conveniently located right next to the Highwood Metra, so my guests who came from Chicago without a car could easily come. The space is super flexible regarding vendors and decorating. Carrie, who was our main contact, was communicative and responsive! We found Loft 329 after needing to change the venue last minute from my original one. From day one of reaching out, Carrie was quick to respond, she managed to fit my mother in for a quick tour and booking was super easy. She even went out of her way to try to help us find a rental for some tables and chairs. Definitely do not pass this space up if you're looking for an affordable, flexible and gorgeous event space!

From the outside it's not much to look at, just a storefront in a strip mall. However when you walk in it's amazing! Lots of open space with beautiful marble(?) flooring. All of the tables were beautifully set and each had a basket of homemade tortilla chips with 2 kinds of salsa and bottles of Mexican soda. There was a full bar in the corner and a nice sized stage for a band or DJ. I'm not sure if they had a kitchen on site or if it was catered in because it was served buffet style. It was Mexican food and it was delicious, seasoned just right. I ate way too much but have no regrets! The place was incredibly clean, their sound system worked well and service was great. And from what we heard from the host pricing was very reasonable. My only comment to the owners would be to replace those waterstained ceiling tiles and create a space to check coats. Hanging your jacket over the back of the chair takes away from the elegance of the room.

The owners and their team were so kind and readily available if needed. The main building is a fair size, I think easily 100 guests fit comfortably without the venue feeling crowded. Even with the bar, buffet, DJ, guest tables, dessert tables - all of that and there was still plenty of room for mingling and dancing. The entire facility was clean and appeared well maintained. I was happy to be an invited guest, and I hope the newlyweds are just as pleased to have chosen Parkway for their big day.

Two adjoining rooms house a bar and a service area where the buffet is set up (the main room is two steps down from the buffet - be careful!). The cushionless wooden chairs are not at all fanny-friendly, especially after 2+ hours. My group was here for a weekday lunch-and-entertainment event. The meal, served buffet-style, included a salad of seasonal mixed greens, rolls, mashed potatoes, mostaciolli sautéed in olive oil & garlic, chicken piccata, roasted vegetables (served cold), and chef-carved roast sirloin. Plated brownies were brought out for dessert. As far as banquet hall food goes, the quality was exceptional. The entertainer on this day, John Ludy Puleo, is a gifted vocalist who emulates the styles of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Bobby Darin, and other Las Vegas greats of the '50s-'80s. Following lunch, his nostalgic 90-minute show delighted the audience. I was underwhelmed by the service at this event. If you wanted a beverage other than water, you had to go and get it yourself. When I pointed out a soiled half-filled water glass to a server, he actually picked it up, examined it, gave me a ridiculous "explanation," and set it back down on the table! The guy carving the sirloin whittled off a tiny piece; when I asked for more, he made a face. Finally, it seemed rather odd that the restroom doors were propped wide open the entire time.
