He comes from a storied Louisiana family of Cajun and Zydeco musicians. He is versatile, sings, plays the triangle, the harmonica and the washboard. and in my little experience of watching him play with various groups, he lets everyone shine. His band's music was made for dancing and I have two left or right feet. The regular fans know what they are coming for - to dance. One of these days I'll earn without upsetting a partner. But then someone has to pay the price for teaching a newbie. A great place to visit for affordable beer and some wine. If Andre performs there, I'll be prepped to dance :)

Located across from 711 and next to Jenny K (the cutest local gift shop) and Well Grounded (our local coffee and bagel spot), Juku feels like a comforting sanctuary and home away from home to get work done. If you're looking to have a private conversation or work meeting, they have two private rooms but also comfy digs for open coworking/solo working. What I love most is the feeling upon entering. They offer coffee, sparkling water, packaged snacks, and just overall great community love. It feels like you're going into the office with water cooler talk without going into an office. I noticed a few regulars bringing their meals from home to microwave around lunch time. Most recently I was presenting on a work call and they ensured I had everything needed for me to be successful (and with solid internet!) My driver drove me to the front door and all the golfers hanging around maybe preferred golf carts only? Then post a sign. Besides that lack of a warm welcome, everything else turned out beautifully. Seriously, I was sweating bricks despite, wearing a very lightweight, Mother Of The Bride wedding outfit; still, I felt pity for the men who wore suits because it was unbearably humid while the wedding commenced. There were over one hundred guests attending the wedding which attributed to more heat enveloping the Church's already humid atmospheric conditions; in addition, the bathroom facilities were highly inadequate servicing one hundred guests. The caterers cut corners refraining serving cheese despite, the Mexican cuisine was supposed to have been paid in advance, serving tacos, burritos, and enchiladas! DOH~I won't be attending Church services here-EVER.

Their summer camp, break camp and after school programs are really well managed. During the pandemic they had a flexible option to make sure children could still interact safety. My favorite is summer camp though. Through their website they have many different options throughout the week. They have tons of sports, art, games, STEM, and lots of options in general. My son always has fun and returns home tired. They also have easy to use website for signing up for activities, renting out picnic tables and grills for parties, and pool and event info. Some of their more notable events are the swimming with pumpkins, the earth day event, and my fav the 4th of July Event, it's really epic. Also, the baseball program is amazing.
