There are several issues that have lead to my withdrawal such as rude staff, incompetent nail technicians, noisy girls, bad music, foul smell or difficult parking. Yes, you can say that I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to looking for the perfect nail salon. Nail Cocktales has been my nail salon of choice for nearly a year now since I moved from my old salon. The place always smells so fresh and clean with equipment they apparently sterilize after every use. I have had the chance to get to know the owner and I am quite impressed by how she runs her business. The girl who used to do my nails moved to Dubai which is why Joane is my nail technician of choice these days. Make sure to look for her when you're in the area!

They had very comfy chairs and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I had them do a blue ombré using gel nail polish on my fingernails and just blue polish on my toes. It took them about an hour - an hour half to finish. The lady that did my nails was very professional and patient with applying the ombré design. Overall, I would go back to this location the next time I go to the Philipines. It is very affordable and the service is excellent!

The foot scrub begins with a soak in some warm water strewn with actual rose petals. One of the staff will come over and smilingly ask whether you would your tea and a cookie now or for later. You get to choose your nail color from their array of imported polish brands (mostly Orly) or hand over your own bottle to your manicurist. I highly recommend going for a massage, if you can get an appointment (some days, their therapists are fully booked with absolutely no way of getting a session in). I love the relaxing ambience of the place and also because it is clean. The staff are all friendly and attentive to your needs. I used to avail their eyebrow threading service (P150) until I learned to pluck my own brows. I used to be afraid of underarm (P200) and leg waxing (P406) until I tried it and really enjoyed it because it doesn't hurt! (Maybe it depends on the person doing it for you) but I never encountered pain in the hands of their staff. Tip: For girls, I've been observing when is the best time to have your hair waxed and I found out it is best one week after your period!
