During my consultation Dr. Marilou patiently discussed all of my questions and addressed my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and reviewed how she would address each issue. At the end of the consultation, she told me that, since cauterization would be very painful, I should try a home treatment first. She carefully wrote every step and included the prescription too. The agent did a pre-consultation, but suggested I needed to come in for my appointment so that my skin can be assessed in person. I gladly took the 3:30pm appointment on a Thursday afternoon. Once I arrived, I'm pleased with how pretty the front lobby is. Met with one technician and had a few questions answered. Let's just say I spent 4 hours at Cathy Valencia, had 3 ladies work on 3 different treatments/procedures, amazed at the cleanliness, professionalism, detail oriented with the work, also purchased 3 different face creams and a face wash which I was instructed to use in place of my regular beauty products for 2 weeks until the healing is complete. Instead of a facial (front desk recommended to pass on the facial because of my acne), I opted for the body scrub and massage. The body scrub was decent. It's a sugar scrub so it's mild exfoliation. I left with softer skin (not baby soft status). However, because I'm used to more intensive exfoliation (i.e. body scrubs at Korean bath houses), this felt like I needed an additional body scrub to get baby soft. The massage was fine given the circumstances. It didn't help that the walls are thin, and you can hear the sounds from the other room. Let's just say the audible noises from the next room were more distracting than relaxing during the massage. In terms of facials, my mom and aunt did leave satisfied. Their faces glowed and had that nice just-got-out-of-a-facial/Hello World Sheen! I did note that wow, the completion of their facials took a LONG time. By the time I finished my services, both my mom and aunt were still getting their facials done. Timing wise, expect to take a good almost 4 hours there. Walk in wait time: We dropped by at 11am on a Sunday. We just narrowly missed the rush. Right after us, people were told that the next available slot wouldn't be until after 1pm. When I went to pay the Cashier she told me a total price of 1500PHP, she didn't even submit a Original Receipt. I told her I wanted to see a cost breakdown of the total. She wrote it on a blank piece of paper, other charges were correct except the Collagen Mask was 900PHP. I told her the Technician quoted a price of 145, she contacted the Technician and of course she said "no mam" I said 1145, which I told her she stated 145. I ask for a copy of their Price List and indicated that I would pay only 1/2 of the Mask which was 450PHP. I did not have my glasses at that time and review the Price List later at my home. Both Collagen Mask either "Soft Peel or Gel" does not state a price of 900PHP. The dishonest individuals- Cashier/Technician working at "Let's Face It" is cheating customers. I wonder how many other customers they have overcharged. "BEWARE" I'm advising all customers or patrons to make sure you obtain an Original Receipt and please review the Price List before payment.
