The first reason is the size, the size of it is literally a hallway. The studio is a studio floor mirror and ballet barres but the thing that is really bad is that there is a door there a curtain. Only - studio and the dressing room is the size of a porta potty. The second reason is that the jazz class is super easy if your 9 I think you could have taken it at the age of 3 or 4. They only have 1 jazz class,multiple ballet classes and then 1 of everything else. The reason I left is because I felt like I wasn't in the dance studio,the dance world. Now if you have a 2,3,4,5 year old that wants to dance send them there. But when they get older they need to have more challenging dance classes,and they need to be in a REAL DANCE ENVIRONMENT! The teachers are very nice though. So this place gets a 3/5

It's such an amazing workout, and it's fun so you don't even realize you're working so hard! The owner/instructor is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and amazing at the art of pole dancing. I like that she breaks down every movement and really forces you to focus on the details..this is important for both technique and safety! The studio is a bit on the small side, with only 5 poles. For classes, you have to reserve a spot and it's first come first serve. If you wanted to plan a group party, you could take turns on the poles. Each pole is both static and spinning and can be easily changed for other workouts. The room is surrounded by mirrors, so you can easily critique yourself and learn. The owner has an amazing selection of music and tons of props to use if you choose! The studio is decorated as a pole studio should be--fun and feminine!! In addition to just learning the art of pole dancing, you can take fun classes like the sensual workshop which teaches you how to be sexy and beautiful while doing floorwork!

So in December I decided one item on my "want to do in 2018" would be dance lessons. The first class I went to was line dance. Jo, our instructor, is wonderful!! The beginner class is 30 minutes long and costs $5! We learned several line dances and had the best time. Once you feel ready you can graduate yourself to novice class which starts right after the beginnners where you can learn a little harder dances. Once every 3 weeks they have a Friday night dance at the studio! So excited!!! The studio is large and open- inviting and big enough to hold a good sized group. My next class will be west coast swing! Can't wait to try that one too!!! I think all the Yelp family needs to come join me :-)

When we got there, our instructor had us fill out a form and ask what kind of dances we liked. Based on what we told her, she had us do the Waltz and East Coast Swing today. The lesson was 30 minutes and we learned the basic step and a turn for each style. It was super fun! I think I'm ready for Dancing with the Stars now. Lol! I'm nowhere near that good, but I can't wait for our next lesson on next week.
