We had expectations of a menu because there was no advertising about a buffet. When we called and made reservations nothing was said about a buffet at all. So the 4 of us were disappointed. I would normally go straight to yelp and put a review in, but I thought I'd contact you with my concerns first and see your reply because mistakes do happen. The buffet itself was very disappointing. Salty over crisp bacon, tough overcooked prime rib, desserts tasted like they had freezer burn, chicken was dry, shrimp were warm and selection for 30 dollars was ridiculous. I do have to say the Bloody Marys, coffee, potatoes were good. Our waitress was fantastic and I was impressed with how clean everything was. The fact that we made special plans for Easter and had a friend in town from California we wanted to take her somewhere special really upset me. She actually told the waitress not to waste the overcooked beef she couldn't eat, but to give to someone's dog so it didn't go to waste. I've done bigger buffets myself and prime rib could have been sliced at omelet station. I will leave it at that. The bartenders were on their game. They did an OUTSTANDING job and we couldnt thank them more. Fast forward to mid summer and I have probably golfed their over 75 times. We became members right before our wedding and have absolutely loved it ever since. The staff is very nice and friendly and the members are also very chill. Its very easy to become friends with other members. Its the perfect club to join if youre not into the snobby rich people, these people are just rich and nice. You can't beat it. The seasoned fries have rotated over the years between shoe string and waffle, but always come with a good amount and are nice and crispy. The dining area isn't massive, but there's rarely ever a wait, which is a huge plus on a Friday night. Whenever I see a post in the local foodie group I'm in on social media asking for the best fish fry in the area, Bubs is always the one I recommend.

You could really pick any amount of wines to try instead of being locked into to specific number. We tried 5 traditional wines, which were all very tasty and 1 ice wine which neither of us had tried before. It was also really good. Service was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the way the tasting was done where you could sit in one of their two seating areas and sample at your own pace vs having to stand at the bar.

The new Across the Street ATS venue was perfect for the event. Lots of space with natural light, beautiful tables, spaces to display photos, flat screens for our continuous slideshow, sound system for Mom's favorite music. The chef took her life story and fashioned a menu that honored her as a German born and raised in Brazil. To say that the food was delicious would be an understatement! Coordinators Olivia and Hailey made the planning a breeze, and they were so gracious in making modifications to control costs. Service during the event was stellar! Any accomodations needed for guests were no problem at all. So friendly and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate a life of love. Thank you so much!!!!!!
