The tour was a bit short for what it's worth, but there is an art gallery portion you are allowed to tour at your own self-guided pace. We then proceeded with wine tasting and a cheese board. I was so pleasantly surprised to see the custom welcoming of our names on the menu. It was such a cute, personalized touch. 10/10 for the ambiance, fresh, blooming wisteria vines, and presentation of both the wine and cheese board. 7/10 for the wine. We really only enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon out of the 4 options. 8/10 for the cheese. Great presentation of the cheese with some unique spreads: apricot ginger and a cab mustard. The cheese selection included a variety of cow and sheep's milk. I enjoyed the Lambchopper and Barely Buzzed the most, the Grazin Girl being my least favorite. My boyfriend enjoyed the Invirness the most due to its soft texture, so it all depends on your personal preference! I may have also finished all the chocolate almonds myself :D This is definitely a nice spot to visit for your first time in Napa, as it's a little tucked away and away from tourists. Overall, I had a very positive experience!

Views were incredible. Got to walk out and taste the grapes straight from the vine. Our ATV driver/Tour guide was excellent. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Napa.

We had such a wonderful experience the first time that I didn't hesitate to book them again for a trip with ten of my college sorority sisters to celebrate our 60th birthdays. I arranged a private van tour for our group, and we selected three fantastic wineries: Cline Cellars, Buena Vista Winery, and Gundlach Bundschu. Our driver, Jared, was absolutely amazing--friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly organized. He kept us on schedule while also suggesting great photo stops and local highlights along the way. Platypus recommended a stop at the Sonoma Market after our first winery, which was perfect for picking up lunch and snacks--it's a must-visit market! We couldn't have asked for better weather, a better guide, or a better experience overall. Platypus delivered yet another exceptional, personalized wine tour for me, and I'll definitely use them again the next time I'm in wine country!

Cute Chateau-style sparkling winery in Napa. Reserved the $45 tasting online but was happy to find…read morethat we didn't all have to do the champagne tasting, as long as we spent the $45 per person minimum on consumables. Since this was our last stop of the day, we went with one glass of the Brut ($16) each to toast the birthday girl, the Caviar Flight that includes three 0.5 ounce jars of caviar, potato chips, toast points, Carr crackers, small bowl of crème fraiche and lemon wedges, and tried the salmon gougeres. While they had good flavor, they were on the drier side. We easily hit our minimum spend with the selection and enjoyed the French opulence, along with the cute goods for purchase on the way out. They also added 18% automatically for our party of 6 to the final bill. Great for pictures, although we got rained in. Still a good stop for sparkling wine lovers.

0/10 - do NOT recommend. The building here is gorgeous, although it sits right next to a very busy…read morehighway so there is a lot of traffic noise. Beyond that, the winery is so full of itself. From the moment we walked in they could NOT be bothered to have an ounce of customer service. We waited more than half an hour for a table despite a reservation, most of it being ignored, only to be plopped down at a random table without an umbrella and next to a couple who REEKED of weed. Sure, not the winery's problem, HOWEVER, said couple arrived after us and was sat before. Maybe they're VIPs? Maybe not. The fact remains that the staff made zero effort to welcome us or make it a pleasant outing. On to the tasting - we waited 15 MORE minutes before a waiter came over and by then, we were pretty fed up with the situation and weren't interested in any of the spiel so just ordered right away. Your mileage might vary if you choose to let them tell you about their winery, but honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath. He made a single apology (and to his credit, he was spread pretty thin - this places needs A LOT more staff and for everyone to, I don't know, actually care?!?!). Our cheese plate was delivered and we weren't sure which crackers were gluten free and when asked a simple question about the kind of milk in the cheese, the food runner told us we had to ask the waiter, but then it was on us to flag him down. Seriously - could they be any more careless? Finally, get to the check and they READ YOUR TOTAL OUT LOUD! Who does that? The lack of tact and decorum was appalling!
