So kind and professional. I had originally ordered a bronze plaque from their competition, It was not satisfactory, so I showed up at Lethbridge Monumental. The staff couldn't have been more supportive, kinder, or sympathetic. A replacement plaque was ordered and it arrived in a timely manner and was perfect. The other company was proven wrong, my expectations of the letters being the same size, thickness and strength were not unreasonable. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. A longer review that may serve you well; From the start I was drawn to a family owned, local company. Lethbridge Monumental (LM) responded quickly to my email inquiry and they even did some research for me. However, experienced family said Company X was their "go to" for reasons that seemed logical. I felt guilty about not following through with LM and being vulnerable, proceeded with Company X that has province wide presence. They don't work Saturdays so I took a day off to go to their show room to see samples and talk to a rep. The subsequent emailed quote was twice what I was told verbally. Back to the drawing board. The rendering was awful. Because they couldn't get it right I provided a detailed digital layout with images. After six weeks of many email exchanges none of the following three renderings was anywhere near close. I was admonished for having required so much of their art department. I knew full well that what I wanted was doable. Frustrated, I went to another large company also with province wide presence and provided Company Y the same images. There I got the "up sell" and "additional costs" justified by what proved to be false information. Company Y wanted a contract signed before even providing a rendering. Unacceptable considering my experience with Company X. Feeling emotionally spent, I went back to Lethbridge Monumental. Within 24 hours I had a rendering back of exactly what I wanted and a quote including the exact granite I wanted that others said wasn't available and to top it all of..... for significantly less than either Company X or Y. Within 3 weeks, LM exceeded my expectations with professionalism, straight forward honesty and even had the stone placed so I could see it before I moved. In my view - multitudes of companies can learn from Lethbridge Monumental. I am profoundly grateful to these honest, committed talented and sincerely caring people who simply believe in doing the right thing right!
