My MacBook laptop wouldn't turn on, and a friend claimed he knows a lot about computers and could probably repair it. He said the motherboard had to be replaced, but I would have to call Apple because Apple doesn't sell parts like that to the public. I called Apple, and they told me that a motherboard replacement would be $855, and I almost cried! I found it hard to believe that a Macbook that's only about 3 years old would require such an expensive repair, so I decided to get a second opinion.
I called up this shop and spoke with Tony. He was very understanding, and very personable. He told me that it would be very rare to have a motherboard failure on a 3 year old Macbook. I brought it over to him, and about 30 minutes later, he called to tell me that he reset the mother board, and my Macbook now starts, but is very slow. He assured me he could fix the slowness problem as well, but would need a couple of hours for that. I was elated! Not just because he got it to start, but his knowledge and confidence was impressive. Well, 2 1/2 hours later, he called to say he my Macbook was good to go and that he had it it running "beautifully", and the repair cost was $140.
I waited 3 days to write this review, as I wanted to make sure my Macbook remained ok, and it sure has! Thank you so much Tony for your amazing and speedy service!!! read more
