I bought a computer from them about 4 years ago. It was a gaming rig. I bought it and used it for a couple days. Then checked again to see how much the computer parts them selves were worth because I spent 1800 on a computer and it wasn't doing what I expected. Extremely rude. Owner stated he is selling all products at a premium because he can. He is basically taking advantage of the citizens of Lethbridge because he believes he has a monopoly. The lack of respect for consumers in this wonderful city that I grew up in is reason I feel compelled to write this. Do yourself a favour, save money and purchase online instead of purchasing from this guy that wants to rip people off. 3/12/13 January 21 2013 I had an XP 2002 made by Discovery in Lethbridge. It was a birthday present for my sister, so was not opened and set up until 2/28/2013. The first problem started when it was found to be lacking in the device that allows a home network to be connected. Back it went to Discovery and the part was installed. The situation was a friendly one, and I returned home in a pleasant frame of mind. And then, after setting the machine up again, I tried to listen to a short video. There was no sound! Another round trip of 100 miles to Letbridge. A sound device was installed. I returned home slightly disgruntled. A few days later it was discovered that the System Restore did not work. Again I drove to Lethbridge. This time the atmosphere was not so pleasant. The owner was not pleased to see me, to say the least. However, the machine was supposedly fixed. I was told AVG was responsible for the problem, that it had downloaded another Program with it, which had caused System Restore not to work. It was suggested that I install 'Kaspersky Security', which the store was selling for $80.00. "No" was said to that, but then on a visit to Staples I saw that 'Kaspersky Security' was on for $39.95 so I took a chance on it. The Program was installed but took out so many of my sister's personal files she asked me to delete it. It wouldn't delete, so I decided to use System Restore and set the machine back a day or two to get rid of the whole thing. It wouldn't restore! And that is why I give the Lethbridge store only two stars. The machine cost $904.00, GST included, and so far it has been nothing but a problem, which has to be dragged a round trip of a hundred miles again to get fixed, and I have no doubt I won't be greeted in a friendly manner when (if) I take it back for the System Restore problem...again! Maybe I'll just hire an independant technician from the area. Definitely teed off! PS: I did hire a local tech from Claresholm. He straightened out the mess at a nominal cost of $63.00, GST included. I think I'll lower my previous rating of '2' to a rating of '1'. read more
