This buisnesss is a terrible place due to the owners unprofessional behavior and unsuccessful services. I would not recommend Kevin to anyone as he gives no attention to customers and is often away from the garage without notice. I walked in at a time Kevin told me to be there and there was no one to be found. The entire building was unlocked and unattended and I know this because I spent time searching for Kevin. It even got to the point where I almost called the police because I was nervous about foul play against Kevin since his building is absolutely trashed. I walked around the entire building multiple times looking for Kevin and resorted to calling him to ask him to be present. The service I received was an additional installation that came with certain accessories that I never was given. As a twenty year old young woman, I was immensely disappointed that I was not helped properly as I do not know much about vehicles. I hardly ever complain on here but I want everyone to know how crappy Lethal Sounds is and how disrespectful they are to their customers especially a 19 year old girl. Against our suggestions our daughter went to LETHAL SOUNDS IN HOOKSETT, NH on Londonderry Turnpike. She wanted a car starter and did not want to wait for the place we recomended. "FLAG" They could do it right away. They installed it and took longer than quoted. After installation, the wiring screwed up her vehicle really bad, dying all the time,lights coming on, even sometimes unable to shut off. To be fair we went to the dealership as well as LETHAL SOUNDS multiple times-months of problems with this, finding out that it was the installation from LETHAL SOUND. In speaking with lethal sound a few times, Tim was very rude and disrespectful to not only me, but my daughter and my husband. Which rolled over to the owner Kevin. All we requested was the money back for the starter and half the cost of fixing at the dealership. He refused and says sue me I have insurance no loss. The owner deserves special mention for going above and beyond the call of duty and helping customers reach satisfaction

I drove from Boston to get a car starter and was told it opened at noon. Got there at 12:30 and waited for 20 minutes and called and no answer. I took my business else where and got a call from Lethal Sounds and hour and a half later asking where was I. Told him I waited and then proceeded to give me attitude for having "poor communication". Made an appt. with Kevin to have 2 speakers installed in my '04 Cadillac. Dropped my car off the night before. He said it would take about a couple of hours & he would call when done. On the day he was to work on it I had to go out in the afternoon so at 11:30am when I hadn't heard anything I called to tell him that I was going to be out in the afternoon and to give him my cell#. I got as far as asking how my car was coming along and before I could get to the fact that I was going out and wanted to give him my cell to get in touch with me....he EXPLODED. Telling me that I was wasting his time with stupid questions like "how's my car doing" and was sick and tired of dealing with people who "didn't know how things worked" and if I needed my *f*ing car so bad to come get it. I was floored and asked why he was being so hostile to an innocent phone call inquiring about my car?? That just made him rant and swear more. So I told him to put the speakers back in my car, don't touch it and I will be done to get it back. I didn't feel at all comfortable having someone acting that unstable working on my car. I couldn't believe it when the appointment was made he was knowledgeable, courteous and very accommodating that's why when I got his "other personality" when I called while he had my car I got real nervous. When I got to his shop he had my two Bose speakers and my car keys unattended on top of the counter so anyone could have stepped in and swiped them (along with my car) There was no one in sight inside the shop he was hiding out back somewhere not wanting to back up his rant in person so I grabbed my keys and left. Not only do I not recommend this place I urge anyone reading this to RUN RUN RUN as far away as you can from this psycho. I've seen this type of behavior before in people and they are in recovery now, thankfully. The funny thing when he was screaming at me was that I DO know how "THINGS WORK" I grew up in a service shop and they don't run this way. If Kevin is the owner of LETHAL sounds I know where they got the name of the shop from. Do not trust this place for any reason. There are plenty of other reputable sound installation shops in the area with stable employees/owners. From reading Zac B's and Jason P's comments this is a bad pattern for this guy and I'm a little glad to know that I have not been alone dealing with this psycho. read more

I had Kevin do the window tint on my single cab Chevy 1500, tint came out awesome, he did it well I waited, very friendly and the tint still looks great over 2 years later. I don't know why he has bad reviews because myself and several friends who have used him have had nothing but great work done and he has always been very friendly, he will definitely be tinting my new truck soon ! read more

Don't use for tinting. Had to have my car totally redone by them 2 times and still looks bad with bubbles and streaks all over it. Put the wrong shade of tint on and then told me they would charge me to redo it. What a joke. Totally unprofessional and wanted to charge me more money b/c of their poor work. They even broke parts of my car doors as well when putting it back together. Broken speaker connections and door lighting. DO NOT USE!! read more

I had a remote starter installed in my 2014 Honda Odyssey. The only unfortunate surprise was picking up the car and learning the car shuts off when you open the door. Our Jeep doesn't do this so it was a disappointment to learn this AFTER the instal. Before the instal the owner was really good about returning emails, only he didn't respond to me about what brand starter he instals, (after asking two times.) Which makes me a little suspicious why he would not give me manufactures info. After the instal he explained there are no remote starter manufacturers who make a remote starter for my car that allows you to enter the running car with the key and drive away (like my Jeep.) I just have to trust this is not a line. Otherwise things were fine. read more

I was satisfied with the install of a touch screen receiver/DVD player in my 350z and front window tint. Communication could have been better. They performed some work on the wiring and placement that should been run by me before completing. I also had my rear taillights tinted on the Z. I asked for smoked and when I checked them out they were blacked out dark, allowing very little light through. He charged me $200 originally, then charged me another $50 to redo them. read more

So i'll begin with saying i've had mixed results with Lethal Sounds and will probably not be going back. I'll start with the good, they have a great selection of products and they don't shy away from customized projects and are generally very helpful and friendly to deal with if your looking to have tinted windows done they are a great place to go aswell as basic customized lighting work "as long as you supply everything needed." Thats the key element to anything you let them work on do not aside from the window tint let them supply new wiring etc. for anything. This leads me into my issues with them i've had several projects done their and anything i've done that all the pieces were supplied no extra wires needed or anything they had to adjust by splicing into other wires was done with decent attention. I've had front and rear speakers replaced at this shop and i've had to have them both re-wired with new wires and re-mounted the rears twice. The fronts were poorly mounted in the doors and came loose after about a week and the connectors were not crimped down this was also an issue with my rear speakers the only real difference with my rear speakers is they spliced into a pre-existing amp install wire and did a really ugly job of it then taped it up real nice to dress it up. They entire rear deck in my car was still loose afterwards thats since been fixed and when installing the rear speakers they drilled through the deck to stabilize the speakers and missed the entire deck or speaker bracket they've since fixed that but it shouldn't have ever happened. Now my experiences with Kevin the owner have been really good and i get honest answers from him everytime i ask even when an issue arose and he did fix them if i hadn't already had them fixed. The rest of the staff acts and looks like they are in lala land and this may be where the issues in work quality and install arise. read more
