I posted the same review in a military page as we are a military family that used a military subsidy. There were so many responses from other families going through the same issues. While the Primeron can reply to my review saying they've "strengthened and improved their communication" it is apparent from hearing from other families they haven't. Responses to Yelp reviews are purely for their image as admin at the Primeron does not respond nearly as fast or as professional to attending families.

I've noticed a few negative reviews here from frustrated parents, which is unfortunate. While I…read morecan't speak to every individual situation, I do want to share that our experience at Primeron has been one of the VERY BEST we could have ever hoped for. In particular, the director, Kaela, has been responsive, approachable, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with families. She has taken the time to listen to concerns, make herself available when needed, and even helped establish a parent partnership group (similar to a PTO), which has been a meaningful way for families to stay engaged and connected. Like any organization, occasional issues may arise, but in our experience, the leadership team has handled matters professionally and with care. Some concerns (such as those related to voucher programs) may be tied to broader administrative systems rather than the on-site leadership. I have great relationships with many family members, and have never had issues making my payments, via the Daycare Family Works app. We can tell that Kaela and the leadership team prioritize and value family partnerships: this is why they have connected parents together through family days, created summer camps, spirit weeks, and a parent partnership group. I plan to be a part of the Primeron family until my child ages out! Overall, we feel supported, valued, and confident in the care our child receives. We appreciate the dedication of the staff and leadership team and are grateful to be part of this community.

The teachers go above and beyond to make learning fun and engaging, fostering both academic growth and social development. Our child has blossomed under their care, gaining confidence, new skills, and a love for learning. The facility is clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and creativity. It is obvious she enjoys teaching and spending time with the children.

From the director, assistant director to the teachers, they make every possible effort to get to know your children and the parents and make you feel comfortable that you've put your child's life in their hands. Our son struggled at first (and admittedly, I did too), but the amazing teachers and staff went above and beyond to make sure we always knew what was going on--how their day went, what they ate, when they slept, and all other little details they feel you should know. We haven't looked back since!

Sure, I may be able to get a little cheaper if I have my kids go to a home daycare, but the care that they get here is why I love it. They have cameras in the class so I can always check in on my little ones whenever I want and they give multiple updates a day via the daycare's app so I never feel like I'm missing much. The teachers treat my kids like their own and I truly feel like they love them. If I voice any discomfort or worry, they work with me immediately. You can tell the Director truly has a passion for this job and the kids, and she schedules fun times each season and most holidays to really make you feel like this is more than just a daycare. If you're thinking about bringing your kid/baby here, stop thinking and just do it. I truly love them.

I watched the live stream in his classroom (toddler) ~2hrs a day and had seen 2 times a teacher caught my son's arms and forced him to sit still no matter how hard he was fighting. After got home on these 2 days, the scratches on his arms were obvious... He was only 1.5 years old and not able to tell us what's happened. We had reported to school the next day and the teacher didn't tell the truth until we told we were watching. We had reported to their district manager and child service in government. But the teacher who hurt him was still working there before we changed school. Actually not only my son, his little friends had suffered similar experiences that I saw. That teacher disciplined kids almost everyday! I doubt her profession, because kids were reading books alone just before discipline. My son was very quite at this school and he became verbal 1 month after he got into a new place. We're so grateful to our decision!

We are new to the area and I wanted to make a good decision for our family. The center is really diverse which was a must for me so that my daughter can be well-rounded. I love her teachers; Ms. Chrae and Ms. Qeyera show my daughter the best care and attention. They are a breath of fresh air. The transition has been smooth and so relieving. My daughter is also a pescatarian and the center accommodates her dietary restrictions with ease! They inform me of everything going on whether big or small. I love it here.

Our toddler started here a couple of months ago and we can't be happier with the place. Previously,…read morehe was kept home with a nanny, but when she abruptly left us we wondered what to do. No longer having her was a blessing in surprise as now he's in a place where he learns daily, from talking to social skills. Let's start with the caregivers, who've all been very pleasant and understanding. We especially like "Miss Meg", who knows every little child by name and recognizes their personalities and behaviors. Just the other day she was professionally reigning in a child that was being a bit of a bully, teaching some ethical behavior. All of the caregivers are polite, professional, and ready to talk with you about anything. They keep a daily log on food, naps, diapers, and what the child was up to, all to discuss with the parent at the end of the day. I've even had them gladly change my son if he's due for a new diaper right when I show up to take him home. Even better, they're going to help potty train him... oh yeah! Then we look at the facility, which is larger than it appears and full of everything for a growing mind. The toddler room has plenty of toys, including building blocks, and all the amenities of a school. An in-house kitchen is used to serve proper food, they use one of the larger areas (for older kids) to have a weekly movie afternoon, and they have plenty of outdoor play area that the children use regularly. There is also a locked front door with a security keypad, to ensure school safety. The only downside is the price, and even then it's average for the area. You can expect to pay upwards of $400/week for babies, dropping to about $300/week once they're over two and continuing to drop after that. It seems expensive, but considering you're basically putting them into pre-preschool, and you can see the value. You do have to call and make sure they have any openings, but La Petite is part of a larger chain of day cares throughout the area, so they may have other locations that might work as well. If you're in need of some place for your little one, then I can't recommend La Petite enough!

We left the center with my oldest from 2022-2024 and my youngest, 2 yo was with her older sister at another center. Last summer/fall a lot of issues started with my youngest at the other Center and it was having a negative effect on her in multiple ways. We pulled her out and decided to return to Kindercare Elkridge and are so glad we did. Since the shutdown, management changed again and improved. Ms Christina was one of my oldests infant teachers so we already knew she cared about the kids and really knew her stuff. Ms Amanda is the new director and we love how she'd rather build the center back up slowly, even if it means keeping a few classrooms closed until she can find quality teachers, rather than rush to fill rooms with warm bodies. They're really trying to restore kindercare to its previous glory. And the 2s teachers Ms Heather and Ms Chelsea are fantastic. The issues my 2 yo was having at the other center have improved significantly and these teachers have really partnered with us to help her. But it's also clear they see and care about her as an individual. We couldn't ask for better teachers who understand this tough age and love and care about the kids like their own. She receives quality instruction in a nurturing environment and has even been branching out and trying new foods thanks to their provided lunches! For a little more money than we were paying at our previous center (where only snacks were provided and most were just processed carbs), now she gets breakfast, lunch and snack provided, with a lot of variety and they actually cook stuff on site. We're so glad we returned. It felt like coming back home.
