I guess you the reader will have to understand the context of me giving 4 stars to Funtime Kids…read more.. basically over the past 2 years we've been to so many that we've probably enough visits to start our own blog... some are good, some are bad - here's my thoughts below why it's one of the better ones. * Saturday lunch, pretty quiet, less screaming kids than normal. * Free hot drinks vouchers for 2 adults with £4 admission fee, pretty good value... * 2 distinct rooms with loads of things to keep your kids active and entertained. Pretty cool big slide. * Very friendly staff. * Very easy to get in and out of from Cheadle and Stockport area (ltd car park space though) * The cafe staff made me an off menu macchiato - nice work! This kept our 2 year old happy and worn out for an hour - mission accomplished.

The husband and wife team that run the venue offer a very friendly personal service offering parties for groups of children or individuals alike. They offer the whole package for birthday parties food drink infact everything! The worry and hastle is taken out of trying to organise a kids party. They offer Bumper parties where all drink food ect is included and whilst the kids are out there having fun the adults can sit inside or out and enjoy some of the lovely homecooked food privided by the friendly staff. Safety is paramount at the centre and full training is given to the kids before they embark on there quad biking experience and bikes are customised to suit the individual child. All I can say is a BIG THANK YOU to the team at Quadraphhoenia and we will be back soon!!!!

We chose the 1.5 hour option and it was perfect...can not recommend it enough. Perfect for birthday parties of all ages (6+) and would be a great day out for hen/stag dos or even just friends getting together to get their competitive fix. Tip-bring water, you'll get hot and sweaty!

Tired of the typical bowling alley/ laser quest combos for kids, I had done laser games many many times before (remember £7 unlimited laser and bowling back in the 90's?), but had never played it outdoors. After speaking to Nick the event organiser, I was assured this wasn't just for children, and promptly booked for 20 adults in middle of February. Obviously a bit weary of potential bad weather, Nick told me he had never cancelled a party due to the weather before. The lead up was very well done. You have ample time to pay your deposit, and are given access to the members area where you can enter the names of the children (or adults), and read health and safety information in preparation for the day. Easy to find, it is situated at Parrs Wood Highschool behind the Entertainment Complex. In 90 minutes we played 6 games, using realistic guns with optical scopes. The marshalls were helpful and the games were varied and very entertaining. The weather did hold out in the end, but don't not be afraid to get muddy as you can shower and change in the school gym afterwards. As always, never wear your best clothes to these events! Several of my friends had never done this before, and including myself would gladly do this again! One gripe which came from this- the equipment could do with a makeover, but much better than the indoors stuff.

There's a cafe and loads of different rooms for the kids to play in like driving cars, disco room etc etc. Basically it's noise, screaming and craziness amplified - I wish I had the energy of all these kids running around! It's £4.80 for a 2 year old for unlimited time (we lasted 1.5 hours before feeling we'd done our honourable duty...) and like most places they don't charge for parents too which I always find a bit of a joke. *Extra tip - the big slide is stupidly steep, I feel nervous just thinking of it now even though I went down it about 15 times with my daughter on Saturday!

There is one section suitable for babies and toddlers which has a good mixture of soft play activities such as a ball pool, slides, and a sensory and disco room. There is also another large section dedicated to much bigger slides and activities for kids old enough to run around there own to get stuck into. There is also a bungee type ride for the older kids, although I think this is charged at extra. The cafe is apparently award winning, although what award it's won I've no idea but actually the food was absolutely fine and probably much better than most soft play places and the veg soup I had tasted fresh and homemade. Tip : There is a car park at the front and an overspill at the back but if, like me, you've braved the school holidays then the nearest car park is a 5 minute walk down the road where Next is located.

Clean, modern, well run and designed to be an ok place to hang out for kids and parents - it was a fiver to take our daughter here for 90 minutes. There's loads of play areas for kids of all ages - giant slides (wow, even I enjoyed going down the main big one) and different sections like the disco room, cinema and sensory room - all pretty cool if you ask me. And for the parents there's a pretty big cafe selling what looked like good quality tea and coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Loads of room to sit and chill out - they've got it down at Head over Heels - check it out if you need to let your kid burn off some of that energy!
