I've had dogs all my adult life, but always got young (~8 weeks) puppies and trained from day 1. 3 months ago, we adopted a dog from HEA and shea was (we thought 4-5 mold, but according to our vet probably twice that). Not near,h as tractable as a newborn! It quickly became evident I didn't know how to re-train out of bad habits and my neighbor highly recommended Lori, although she is about a half hour away. I am so very, very glad I listened, not inexpensive but worth every penny. We went with the 4 week 4-hour drop off (pawrents get instruction at pickup). Our girl learned a LOT - as did I - and I have been semi-diligent in following instructions at home with good effect! Any lack in current control is because I have slacked and like to use the excuse of my older bulldog getting jealous and in the way as to why I haven't consistently exhibited due diligence. Despite all that, the core training has made Blueberry one of the most obedient and happiest dogs I have ever had. There are some follow-up group classes that we will be attending (and were included in our package) that we will be utilizing. Blue was happy to go there, happy with Lori (and her wonder dog Aoefa).
