Today after flagging down three people to simply get a pedal out of a case I gave up after half an hour. On two previous occasions things they listed as having in stock they couldn't find. This is why companies like Sweetwater will continue to take over more of the market... All my orders have arrived within 36 hours from Sweetwater. They've been great with returns and you can get a sales person to notice you exist on the phone. It's too bad what's happened to Guitar Center?

After considering buying a new guitar at a modest price point, I talked to a very friendly young guy at the repair center and told him about my old Epiphone. He agreed that probably a simple adjustment of the neck for under $100 bucks would do the trick. Today, when I walked back into the store, there was an incredibly sour, rude, and dismissive older guy -- I didn't catch his name, but his accent told me he was of Eastern European origin like me. When he first saw me, he started heading for the back door. But I said hi. So he stopped and turned around. He did not say hi back. I told him what I needed and about my conversation with his colleague the day before.. He gruffly told me to take my guitar out of the case and then mildly barked at me when I pointed it in the wrong direction because he hadn't told me to rest the neck on a rubber stand I didn't see. He poked around for a couple of seconds. Then asked me what the value of the guitar was. I told him it was a 1970s Epiphone, nothing special, but the label was also in the guitar so he could have seen for himself. Then he announced it would be AT LEAST $1200 to fix because of all the work he'd have to do. There was no, "Sorry to tell you," or "You might want to consider..." Just a get the f- out of here kind of attitude. I said, "Well, that's ridiculous," as he turned his back and I left. I mentioned it to the security guy at the door who had signed me in (because I walked in with a guitar in case) and he said, "You're not the first person to say that {the guy is a jerk and a poor representative for the company.) And he told me to come back tomorrow. That, frankly, is doubtful. And normally, I don't rag on people online. I like to point out who is doing a GREAT job. This time, though. I couldn't let it stand.

Rudy's Music - The actual tuner was not broken so I don't know why they kept my original Martin hardware and used this clearly inferior product.

Just blown away by the instruments they had! Not sure how long I was in there, but everything from droolworthy original D'Angelicos, original Epiphones and more... So much of music's history of the past to the present. After I get home and watching guitar videos I keep seeing this store pop up. Keep saying 'Hey, I was there!'... Do. yourself a favor and stop by. See the amazing selection of instruments they have on hand / display. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help when I asked. Thanks guys! Look forward to seeing you again!

She happened to coordinate with other professional string musicians to teach the camp for various levels of students. It was a great opportunity for my daughter who was 11 years old at the time to learn how to play with other musicians, practice sight-reading, perform a chamber piece, listen to other groups at the end of the camp, and socialize with her peers. It was a rewarding experience. A year later, my daughter's violin teacher who had better opportunities elsewhere moved away, and we were so lucky that Emily had room in her studio. Emily is a talented professional violinist with a wonderful musical background from established music schools and her passion for playing is inspiring. We have seen her perform in her professional string quartet in San Francisco -so wonderfully exciting. My daughter's violin abilities have greatly improved under her instruction in one year. Emily's Suzuki weekly instruction is thoughtful (tailored to the individual), patient, encouraging, effective, and inspiring. She is able to connect with her students individually and motivate them in different ways. She is able to help my daughter interpret musical pieces by helping her to understand them by giving her historical background about the piece or visual aids. She recently helped my daughter prepare for an audition for an All-City Orchestra which she was accepted into the 1st violin section. Her instruction was extremely helpful not only for the violin instruction but also for the mental preparation for the audition. Her suggestions really helped my daughter know what to expect. We have recently started online instruction which has also been both convenient and effective. I am so grateful we found Emily. She is simply the best.

We got connected with Emily because she teaches the Suzuki method. From the first lesson, we knew we had the right teacher for our daughter. Emily's great with young kids. She understands how to communicate with them and challenges them without pressuring them. She's enthusiastic and caring. She makes the lessons fun. She doesn't nitpick (like I do during practice) and she always keeps it positive. It's been almost a year since our daughter started taking lessons and we can't believe how far she's come. Thanks Emily!
