Do not trust your pool levels to any Leslie's. Their readings have been so wrong that it has cost a fortune and damaged our equipment by following their advice. Buy a Taylor kit and check the levels yourself. read more

I've used these guys for 6+ years. In the early years, it was poorly run and the service was horrible. This new team (last few years or so), led by Clythia, is nothing short of fantastic. Prices are much higher than online options. Installation prices are over inflated. The store has no control over installs. Not sure if it's a departmental issue or if they outsource their installations. Purchased a hot tub light and I had installer come out and tell me that I had to pay 300+ more dollars for additional cord. I then pulled the cord myself and measured it and it was 25 feet under what I had already purchased. He advised me to take back the initial light and purchase the longer cord from him. Additionally, I recently purchased two pool lights $2400+. Had to pay for product and install upfront. Waited for A month to install. The same installer that gave me bad info on hotline light came out and told me he had to reschedule but said couldn't tell me when. No one at store or 800 number could either. Very frustrating experience with cost, truthfulness, timeliness, and customer experience. read more

A tech came out yesterday to install the lights but didn't' have them with him. He said he'd be back but never returned or communicated back to us. Services manager at store says her hands are tied and can't give me an update. I requested a direct phone numbers to install manager but she will not give me. I'm still out of pocket with no update. I would not recommend this company for installs. I would also consider Lowes, amazon, etc. for products such as salt, Polaris, etc. as they are much cheaper. read more

I requested a custom hot tub cover and supplied them with a design and measurements. They did no in person inspection OR consultative sale, just sent information to their manufacturing firm in Chicago. The manufacturing firm shipped a massive 4 piece system - both too heavy and too large for the hot tub. I had requested a light foam and vinyl top, but they sent a heavy foam and hard plastic cover that was not portable! When the manufacturer shipped to Leslie's, they called and said I needed a large truck and A CREW to move this cover. I then contacted Leslie's and their manufacturing firm about all these errors and issues. All they offered was a new cover at full price with a 15% discount!!!! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Dishonest business, no concern for the needs of the customer, and no offered solution but $1500 for an unusable unit. read more

I realized that I never provided an update for this saga after an acquaintance mentioned a recent particularly frustrating experience he had with this Leslie's store (I wish I had warned him...). After I wrote my review, a company representative sent me a message asking for my contact info so that their regional manager could follow up with me. I will give Leslie's that he did reach out to me although he left me a voicemail with a bunch of platitudes. I immediately called back. He answered, but told me he was at a conference in Arizona and was very busy, however he very much wanted to make this right. He promised a callback by the end of the day. He never called back. In fact, I called back twice that week with each call going to voicemail. Take what you will from that, but my experience with Leslie's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Oh, btw, over a year later and we're still not even a quarter way through our oversized bucket of chlorine. read more

I am long over-due in writing this. Leslie's (and this store in particular) does a terrific job in providing a valuable service along with friendly customer support. Their staff is well trained and very positive / helpful......starting from Clythia on down. I'm a rookie when it comes to pool maintenance.... yet they make me feel comfortable in asking any type of question. Their pool water analysis is unbelievably helpful. To simply provide the water sample with the crew doing all the work makes performing pool maintenance a doable task. They're chemists and their play-by-play instructions then do it all. It takes all the guess-work out of reading those testing strips. The staff was also able to connect me with service people when I needed to make a service-provider change. So 5 star rating for all that they do in helping me (and the community) effectively maintain my pool. read more

I have been real pleased with this store and how they support me. Clythia is terrific, and they have been helpful when I have issues. I really think they know their stuff, and have never felt pressured into buying anything. In fact, often times they simply test my water and tell me I can get by without adding new chemicals. I do all my own pool work, so appreciate having them to talk to learn from. read more

Poor customer service and the price met policy is a lie. The manager, a young lady, twenty ish needs to learn appropriate customer service skills. I will never return to the store. read more
