I am honored and also somewhat surprised to be the first to write a review for Hay House…read more Louise Hay, author of "Heal Your Body" and "You Can Heal Your Life" (and many other books, cds, etc) founded Hay House in 1984. Louise transitioned on August 30, 2017 at the age of 90. Hay House continues to publish books, audiobooks, calendars, card decks about: astrology, energy healing, Feng Shui, holistic health, numerology and other live-your best-life, well-being related subjects. I learned about Louise Hay in the mid-90s. Although my health and well-being is not quite 100%--it is 100% better than it used to be thanks to Louise Hay and some of the authors that she has brought into my life. I started reading her books and listening to her meditation tapes--remember, it was the 90s!!. They can be a bit repetitive, but it seems to take quite a bit of good thoughts to replace the very many negative thoughts that one is usually exposed to in the course of their lives. I have bought a number of books and cds from Hay House over the last 20+ years by authors like: Abraham-Hicks (my favorite), Terah Katheryn Collins (Feng Shui) Wayne Dyer, Denise Linn, Dr. Christiane Northrup and many others. More recently I bought audiobooks by Gaby Bernstein and Pam Grout. I usually buy these when they go on sale and they do have some very nice sales! I signed up for emails and that is how I am notified about the sales. Today (!11-12-19), I took advantage of the $5 Stocking Stuffer Sale and ordered 2 audio cds by Dr. Joe Dispenza, 2 by Wayne Dyer and one by Robert Holden (Follow Your Joy - I will soon be the most joyous Yelper you know!! : ) Btw, shipping was free with my $25 order. I noticed it would have only been $3.99 if I ordered less. I also receive (by email) inspirational information regularly and notifications of related Summits/Webinars. Many summits/webinars are free. I am currently listening to a 4-video series by Dr. Christiane Northrup that I learned about thru Hay House. "Ageless Goddess Secrets". (Yep, I'm going to be Joyful and Ageless thanks to Hay House!! : ) So, if the take that you have on life right now isn't quite working for you, you might want to give Hay House a try. They offer a lot of free inspiration and if it does not really resonate with you, you will only be out of some of your time. Time is valuable, however, if the information does click with you - - your time will be well worth it!! Envisioning health and well-being for you in any way that works the best for you. May your life be full of Beauty, Ease and Grace - - and everything else that brings joy and well-being to you!

This paper has potential but still has a lot of room for improvement. I come from a small New…read moreEngland town where the local paper IS your source for news... outside of the gossip grape-vine. Even the kids in my high school lined up on Thursday mornings to see their photos in the sports highlights or get the latest dirt on the last town meeting. When I moved to North County San Diego I expected the same interest and insistence of quality from the locals but was disappointed. This past spring we had a kid murdered in San Marcos at a party. The entire day the CSI truck was parked outside attracting a lot of attention. I logged into www.NCTimes.com several times over the course of the day only to find up-to-the-minute highlights of the our local celebrity owl babies. While I do think there is a time and a place for fluff news like this, I was disappointed that the murder was posted more than 12 hours after it happened and was deeply buried. I actually ended up finding a more detailed story on the San Diego Tribune website. I wrote the N.C. Times editor about the murder and never received a call or email in return. The format for the online edition is useful and easy to navigate. The interface for leaving discussions is dreadful. Nothing but idiots saying outrageous things to get attention and hiding behind their anonymity. I hope they can change their format to encourage thoughtful discussions and start monitoring the morons who have been taking over the comments section so that those of us who actually care about our neighborhood can offer something positive.
