Joe, Sarah, Jerrod, and Rob all have made my buying experience much more than just a "purchase." I feel like part of the Harley-Davidson family now. The service department and parts department are also very customer service oriented and excellent at what they do. The apparel department also rocks and they always are ready to help and explain the specials and on-sale items. The Riding class I took from Cox's Harley-Davidson was excellent and the instructors taught me valuable skills for safe riding and gave me the confidence I needed before getting out on my new bike. It also allowed me to get my motorcycle endorsement in a hassle free manner. Tom and Gene are a great tram of instructors, I highly recommend them... Between the next several weeks I received several phone calls about additional work that needed to be completed on my motorcycle. The total for the service conducted on my motorcycle came to $2,192.03 based on the additional items the dealership stated I needed to be done. After the 4th phone call I received telling me I needed something else done I informed the dealership, I would take care of the anything else at a separate time however I was ready to pick up my motorcycle as the repairs were stated to be completed. The service department said no problem, the bike is ready to be picked up. I received a call roughly 2 hours later from the dealership saying they had bad news, they believe the motor was no good on the motorcycle and it would cost me more to repair then to purchase a new motorcycle. Discouraged I drove to the dealership to retrieve my motorcycle. At my surprise the gentlemen at the counter said the service associate I had been talking to was new and doesn't know what he was talking about. The motorcycle and motor were fine. I needed to drive the motorcycle for an additional 500 miles get the oil changed again and I would be fine. Another team member ran to the back, grabbed his helmet, cranked up my motorcycle and rode it out into the showroom. I swiped my card for the total owed and rode the motorcycle out of the showroom unto my trailer I hauled with me. When i got to the top of my trailer I noticed a "snail trail" of oil that followed the path I just rode and the motorcycle cut off completely. I walked the motorcycle off the trailer and back into the shop to find the associates cleaning up the oil spill my motorcycle left but didn't inform me. The service manager apologized and said he would fix the problem. His fix is an additional $9k in repairs out of pocket.

The parking is abysmal, prices are too high on everything, their inventory leaves a lot to be desired, and they shouldn't even bother having a parts department since they never have what someone needs right now. Every damned time they will say " sorry. we don't have that. But, we can order it, and have it here in a few days." Then all you can think is, I can order it and possibly have in two. Also, this isn't some obscure part in question. It's small things like bolts or brake pads. If you go there with hope in your heart, you will be severely disappointed.

Great and quick service on my e bike. We took it in they said it would be maybe a week. The next day that had it all back together, new kickstand and mirror installed everything back in order and I was back in business. I took my bike in and talked to a lady named Audrey. She wasn't very personable from the beginning. She told me a tune up was $105.00, I had to ask her to repeat that number. Then she told me it would be a week before someone called me to tell me what needed to be done to the bike. I didn't ask but this place has changed hands from the two guys who were the original owners when they were in downtown Rock Hill. Riverwalk is more of an upscale location and they can probably run the business this way. They are overcharging and underserving. What a business model? I was told to take my bike to Dicks Bike Repair in Pineville so I did. Full service tune up for $75.00 and back in two days.

They both say they are open on the weekends but in actuality only sales are open on the weekends- they fail to mention no tech including minor adjustments. It would have been nice to get this information before I drove an hour round trip. On top of that, when I pointed this out to the employee he was rude and condescending. He made excuses and then told me good luck when I said I would go to the Trek Store in South CLT instead. They saw be struggling with a young child to get him and the bike back in the car and wouldn't allow either of us to use their restroom even when I purchased a helmet. On the flip side, the Trek Store in South Charlotte tuned my son's bike on the weekend for no cost and offered to load and unload the bike without me asking. And they had clean restrooms. The tech was cheerful and helpful. I would always recommend South Charlotte Trek store over Bike Town.
