Owner graciously met me downstairs, removed item from my car and took the time to inspect the item and point out the "gem" I procured as he compared my lounge to the "prefab won't-last-five-years chaise lounges of today. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider. Most importantly, he did NOT expect full payment that day! Whew!! What a relief. Starting a new business is expensive so not having to make full payment before work commenced made my day. Chair is absolutely a transformation. Comfortable and I can't wait to use as a prop. Love the oatmeal color I chose.

In an "old money" colonial New England town where some shop owners can be prickly or even hostile this was a wonderful experience. The textiles were beyond beautiful. They didn't require a deposit. The chairs look SPECTACULAR. The craftsperson removed some tufting, created new seat pillows and a denser cushion as well as new springs in the seat. My only complaint is that they never called me with the estimate and it ended up being more than I expected by about 30%. But, in a Safavieh catalog the chairs would have been much more in a lesser fabric, so I'm happy.

Then weeks after our request, the absent designer had her sister show us 5 fabrics, one of which we liked but then it turned out to be out of stock, wasting another week of our time. They may be good but clearly $3-4,000 reupholstery projects are not of interest to them.

When the blinds arrive Ryan came to install them and he couldn't have been more friendly and professional. The blinds look gorgeous! My grandchildren were visiting this pasted weekend and, unfortunately, broke one of the blinds. I call Caligari's thinking I would have to purchase a new blind but they informed me that it might be able to be repaired. I scheduled a service call and it was Ryan who came again; I was so glad. He was able to fix the blind right away! For just the cost of a service call the blind is working again! He let me know that he isn't always able to fix blinds on site sometime they need to be sent out for repair, but if he can fix them, he does. So nice! Had a carpet installed today. The installer was rude and unfriendly. What was worse, he refused to put on a mask, claiming he had asthma and couldn't breathe in one. Only when I phoned the store, did he put one on and even then he was rude about it. I spoke to someone at the store who said that only Kaitlyn could deal with this and they would contact her right away. But no one called me back. Atrocious customer service, and you're paying top dollar for the carpeting to boot.
