I depend on my car for work use to support my family of 6 kids. I took my car in for a major repair that costs over $2,000 and exactly 1 year later the exact same parts failed in the manor of why U took my car to The Shop in the first place. When I took my car back the shop owner refused to do anything about it, nor tried to warranty anything. Is this the way a local business is supposed to treat a small town working man? It gets even worse with what I actually found out. The parts that failed weren't even new parts that I paid so much money for, after getting several professional opinions from other automotive shops, including the one that actually fixed it right. I found out that the parts were no way only a year old as the bolts and components were completely rusted out and shown much more age with the condition they were in, to be in the shape and appearance compared to other like parts and components of 1-year in age. Of course I went back to Ron, the owner and confronted him about it, he actually escorted me out of his place of business and went on in denial of the whole thing, and literally was happy to wash his hands of the whole thing, like I was a nobody. And since I also found out that taking him to court would cost more than what I would get back in restitution, I'm going to let every fellow Pendleton local know if The Shop's deceitful ways so that you can trust someone else with your car. If your car is scheduled to go to the shop, do yourself a huge favor and go get it right now to take it somewhere else, and If you are already stuck with using the shop because they are already working on it, please inspect what you expect, because they don't honor their warranties, if they actually have any, and don't get used or so-called refurbished parts like I got. I will be also posting pictures to edify this post for credibility and authenticity that this is a true and accurate review of this local business; The Shop of Pendleton, Oregon.

Hmmmm ... it was a small bolt in the tire. The Flat Repair is $35, the rest is pure hogwash. Beware of the business practices of any business that would charge superfluous and ridiculous charges like these. Thus is a small tire shop in Pendleton, Oregon. A rip off. Won't return.

Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of. I have no clue how to repay his kindness except to write this review and say that, Wes, your karma is clear for the next hundred years, bud!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now this happened on a Sunday, universally understood as the worst day to get a flat as nobody is open to help and even our insurance wanted to tow the car somewhere for it to be fixed the next day. Since they are new, run-flat, and that towing option seemed like a hassle, she just extended her stay in Sunnyside for a day and resolved to pump some air into the tire, run it down to the nearest place that could repair/replace it, then come home. Thank GOD Commercial Tire was the closest place. Despite being behind a large municipal construction project which block direct street access, the folks at Commercial Tire were in good spirits and everyone greeted her, and was solicitous of her situation. They took the car back and took a look at the tire. Turns out it was a big screw. We were prepared to replace at least two of the tires but the people at Commercial Tire repaired the tire, brought the car around, and then wished my wife a happy day. No charge. It is rare enough these days to have a business so completely committed to excellent customer service, but to have the grace to just lend a hand to someone having a bad day, that's a great business and worthy of your consideration.
