Love this store! If you like good style at a low price, this is definitely the store for you!…read more This store has a lot of styles that many other furniture stores in Memphis do not have. There are many different aesthetics from rustic to midcentury/modern to vintage. Not only do they have a great selection to choose from, they also have a lot of prices that are unbeatable. I've often compared prices of this store to major furniture stores such as overstock.com, and Frugal Home Finds still beats overstock's prices. This is a family owned store and the people here are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. To discredit the negative comment, Frugal Home Finds has been developing more and more hours recently. They have actually stayed open a little later for me since I didn't get off work in time to pick up some furniture. All in all, if you're interested in stylistic furniture with low prices, you absolutely must check out this store. Oh, and their social media sites are well taken care of and often show new pieces.

Memphis is sorely lacking in quality home furniture. The Back Room certainly fills an underserved niche. The people working there seem glad to be there and are happy to help coordinate a look that works. Even the bathrooms are pure luxury with deeply hued walls, huge iron rimmed mirrors juxtaposed with soft lighting. And, it's all for sale! It's a lovely experience.

No one greeted us, offered assistance, or even acknowledged our presence. As we were preparing to leave, another customer overheard my friend say, "Let's go to a store where our money is appreciated." That customer immediately went and told the sales associate what she had heard. Only then, as we were walking out the door, did the associate finally acknowledge us. The experience was extremely disappointing. Every customer who enters a store should be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of whether the staff believes they will make a purchase. Unfortunately, we left feeling unwelcome and as though our business simply did not matter.

I have seen art, old junk, Memphis stuff, tshirts, converted old stereo systems, and just some of the most random stuff ever. We have made several purchases from one particular artist. His name is Kenny Hays. I'm going to attach a pic of his card to my review. Really cool sculptures with tons of creativity and super value priced for badass art like his. Completely worth a stop and browse around the place. You are absolutely going to at least find something to make you chuckle. If you don't have a sense of humor, you may not though. So... if you can handle, "thanks for having a big dick coasters", you should be good. I find it all quite amusing. The gentleman that owns the place is very nice and accommodating as well is all of the staff. You can get some great Memphis art and check out some cool trinkets as well. Love it!!

When we first moved here, locals guided us here to purchase much needed furniture items to fill our loft. Chapman's left a lot to be desired. I mentioned earlier that it is tiny, well tiny may be an understatement. They probably have about 3-4 living room sets, a couple of bedroom sets, mattresses, and I think I spotted some appliances and TVs near the back. It reminded me a lot of an Aaron's or a Rent A Center, in that there weren't an over abundance of choices here. There were also tons on signs on the wall stating "Your job is your credit." Which, I guess is good to know if you have bad credit. I found a lot of the furniture in Chapman's to be a little too ornate and wooden for my tastes. If you are looking for a bargain, I would definitely suggest stopping here, it is worth a shot. However, don't wander in here expecting the show room of a Value City or Ashley Furniture. It ain't even in the same league.

It has grown over the years, I can remember when it was half the space and that was for combined PB/Williams Sonoma, and Hold Everything. It is surprising to look around my house and realize how many things were purchased at this outlet, and almost all of them on a super-closeout ultra special deal. Some might say I'm cheap, and I'd agree, but I also love nice things. Many, many years ago I saw the apothecary table from PB on an episode of "Friends," and thought it interesting and little more. Then imagine my surprise probably 10 years ago (quite awhile ago at least, don't quote me on timing) when hubby and I visited and saw a slew of apothecary tables on super sale for $49-$79... don't remember precisely, but seriously only two digits in the price. We've bought lamps, pillows, home accents, window treatments, light fixtures, vanity mirrors, lots of stuff over the years. This past weekend we visited and the deal I couldn't pass up was from the PB Kids collection, adorable retro shaped lunch boxes for some young ones on our Christmas list for $7. Seriously, so cute. I also grabbed a great looking travel cosmetic bag set for an older cousin who is in college, and we bought a couple of great nostalgic metal Christmas ornaments. This is a great store that I dub 4 out of 5 stars because it can be hit or miss if there's not a special sale going on. Remmber, I'm cheap and this is Pottery Barn.
