I frequent the Mequon store every few months and I like the shoe selection and the employees have been very nice and helpful every time I have visited the store. I think the prices are good and very comparable to prices you would get online but with much better customer service. Employees seem knowledgeable and they are always willing to help you when you have questions. I like that they have expanded their pickle ball paddles and equipment. Nice job! read more

I purchased over $750.00 worth of merchandise today from the Port Washington Rd. store location and was never once asked if I needed any help. I like to be able to browse but clearly the staff were more interested in local gossip than assisting clientele. In fact, I could not help overhearing conversations around the cash register about somebody who had Covid19. The lack of empathy was astounding! Truly. At the check out the cashier informed me that Covid had not effected their business at all! In fact, it has been "one of their best years ever because people wanted to be outdoors." So what is this profitable business doing to help support their community? The young cashier, most likely one of owners daughters, was boastful, short and entitled. I felt like she could have cared less if I made a purchase or not. She even asked me if I wanted a bag? What was I suppose to do, carry a jacket, two shirts and some pants out holding the receipt. I will never go back to the store, in fact I thought about returning everything I bought. Sad, because Les Moise carry good products and have a long history in Milwaukee, which is a shame. As a Swiss ski instructor, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism or understanding of the products they sell. My recommendation, go somewhere else or buy online. Have ski and boot sales at your local schools at the end of the season. That's what Swiss people do. We always found perfect deals for our kids! read more

Worked with to put together a set of skis and equipment that was right for me. Considered how much I wanted to spend, my ability and the newest tech. Very patient as I tried on about 6 pairs of boots until I was satisfied. Love my skis. Will definitely go back. Recommend this shop to others! read more

Hmmmm I am torn on this review. I went to the brookfield store first and wasn't even acknowledged. Odd. Whatever. On to The Mequon Store. I was looking for skies this time. The first fellow to help me well, bless his little heart, didn't really know his merchandise. He spent so much time with me trying on ski boots but I didn't feel comfortable purchasing from him until I had a chance to review the items at home. I came back and a super experienced fellow picked out the right boot for me first shot. Working there for 30yrs. I also bought a pair of skis from him based off his suggestions and well, I should have gone home again to review these skis first. I hope they work out, I really do. I am an intermediate skier and he sold me expert/pro skies. I did tell him about my level. When I went to pick these up, I again mentioned I am a bit nervous trying these. I am completely unsure of the return policy, it isn't on my slip. Wasn't mentioned to me when purchasing. I felt rushed when picking up the skis/boots, I forgot to ask. They also didn't give me the box for the boots. Odd? Can I return any of this...no idea. Was shop person number 2 good with a boot recommendation: absolutely yes. Ski recommendation: TBD. I just had the worst experience here (Mequon store). Took two skis in to have bindings altered to fit boots (for teenagers) and was told they couldn't do anything since the skis were "too old." The guys is looking up skis in a paper book -- really??? Hmmm......everywhere else I've ever taken them will do this for the kids. NO HELP at all. I even asked to buy the tool and I would do it myself. Nope. TOTAL WASTE of time and a trip there. NOT HELPFUL read more

We have had 2 incidences in the past year that had been going elsewhere. Our family has been loyal to the 'shop local' and recently our daughter bought a brand new north face coat. And after the first wear the zipper fell off. We took it back to the store and instead of giving her a new one (like Nordstroms would) they told us they would send it in to get replaced and it would take 4!weeks. Again why wouldn't they give us a new coat as Nordstroms would have made it right. So not only did we have to wait 4 weeks for the coat to be returned, when we picked it up they CHARGED us to replace the zipper. Where is the customer service? I would not recommend purchasing ANYTHING from this store. They do not know the first thing about customer loyalty nor retention. I will go out of my way to NEVER shop there again. read more

Not sure why this place has gotten such poor reviews in the past over such small inconveniences. My experience was fantastic! The staff was knowledgable and extremely helpful and I was able to get a pair of ski boots for a screaming deal due to another customer returning them. I was taken care of and every question I had was answered to its fullest. The one issue I had was once I showered up and was back by the boots section for quite a long time before someone ended up recognizing I needed help. My recommendation would be to ask the front desk right away for assistance. read more

I recently took my beloved Prince racket here (circa 1996) to get restrung and also look at tennis shoes. The service here is exceptional and the people that work here actually use the products they are selling so they can give you honest feedback. The girl that helped me with my shoes was great and very patient since I was trying on many pairs :) Anywho, I was taking my racket here to get restrung and the grip fixed since it felt wobbly like it may be broken, I had prepared myself for buying a new racket even though I did not want to since I have had the same racket since high school and love it. So the grip was damaged and the grommets on the strings were shot! Dang! But the guy, Steven, was really helpful and helping me pick out a decently priced racket and also had sympathy for me having to put my antiquated Prince to rest. RIP. I love going there since it is local but now have even more reason to go back because of the great customer service! So let's talk prices.. I think the restringing price is $22 which is decent and they guarantee a 24 hour turnaround time. The shoes and athletic apparel is kind of prices but the clearance rack has some good deals. They also specialize in skiing but this one doesn't ski so I can't comment on that department. read more
