Luckily the kitchen was still open so we went in for our last dinner before flying back to Northern California tomorrow. So thankful that we made a right choice to come here. The manager does not speak much English but with google translate we managed to understand the menu a bit. They just started a new menu tonight for the weekend to come. Ordered a appetizers of Spanish cured meat , scallops with amazing yellow sauce , main dish my husband ordered a aged steak with yummy green purée sauce made from French veggies in a black plate and I ordered a roasted octopus with turnips , pickled red onion with black sesame purée sauce on a white plate. Pairs with a glass of light oaky French red wine. The presentation was just heaven to the eyes and the taste was just out of this world! I am surprise no one give this restaurant a recent review. Lots of local people eat here. This restaurant deserve more review!! We will definitely come back whenever we come to Paris! Sorry for not giving you the names of our dishes. Should have taken a photo of tonight's menu! But if you ever come here, just order any dishes as I guarantee you will not walk away disappointed !!! But I was pleasantly surprised during my first trip. They were packed when we arrived for a weekday lunch but after a 10 minute wait a table opened up inside. The service was slow but delightfully friendly. My wife and I both ordered the duck and it was meaty and delicious. The kids both got brochette, (shish kabobs). They were a little rare, the standard way for French to serve beef, but were delicious. And the meals were so generously sized that only two of us were able to finish ours. My only complaint would be the toilets. The women's didn't have a toilet seat and the men's had a seat but it was cracked. That offered the user the rather interesting opportunity to sit down, open up the gap in the cracked seat and then shift position and close the gap, thereby pinching a spectacularly delicate, little patch of booty. So if you hear someone squeal and leap up off the seat in the men's room, now you know why.

In keeping with their request, I can now add "don't go unless you have already eaten", or how about "Bring a tent and lawn chair so you can be first in line if they ever re- open". Better yet " A good place to go for those with extremely severe dietary restrictions". I actually feel sorry for the last 3 proprietors, as it appears this place is jinxed as a restaurant. Unless you're the Princess Cafe, you'll probably go bankrupt serving food in this town, unless you can keep the total tab to $7 or $8 per person, including tip.
