This was a wonderful discovery ! Amazing pastry shop close by to us and our home. We ordered a Strawberry Shortcake online for Valentine's Day and it was ready on time and it was delicious. Great little pastry/cake shop/deli. It's a tiny store but you'll surely find something to make your mouth water. Find all kinds of sweet snacks, pastries, macaroons, cookies, bread, ready made cakes or for custom order, pizzas, pizza dough, deli meats, sandwiches that can be assembled on the spot, pasta imported from Italy and other delicacies. They always have free samples and coffee, staff is friendly and helpful. However, this place could be better if they had more selection on hand. Depending on time of day, the shelves can be a little bare, plus, some of their packaged goods aren't dated so you don't know when they were made or when they expire. read more

Very similar to my Dolce Piu review, you must try the lobster tail dessert from here - so good! This place is dangerously close to my south shore home, need to avoid it! They have all kinds of cakes and pastries. I've only tried the large vanilla stuffed lobster tail for $3 each, and their amazing dulce de leche cheese cake (I think around $35-40). YUM read more

I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. My bff had her baby's birthday cake ordered from here and told me that the bakery is very close to my house. After months of procastinating I finally went over to indulge my sweet tooth. Boy oh boy do they have a selection. I started off with the lobster tail pastry which I had no idea what it was but had something to do being an Italian pastry. Bang on cream level. I also tried their death by chocolate and his and kisses cake. Guys I can't tell you enough how good their cakes are. The Brossard location is so convenient. I was a loyal customer of their St. Leonard store until I moved to Brossard. Their pizzas are fantastic, the bagged cookies and taralli's are a godsend. Their cakes may be frozen but if you follow their instructions, you would never guess that their cakes are frozen. You can get fresh ones if you order them custom. Their vegetable pizza is my favorite. This is the ONLY Italian bakery on the South Shore :) read more

Needed a last minute birthday cake. Strawberry shortcake was great! The cake was moist and icing not overly sweet which was perfect.

I was truly disappointed with the cake. It was for my granddaughter's christening yesterday July 29 2017. We asked for a Lavender icing. We got light blue. Asked for s teddy bear on top with blocks with letters of her name in purple. We got darker blue. Funny someone doesn't know their colours or couldn't be bothered to add a few drops of red colouring to get it right. For the price you charged. Really? We ordered the same cake 5 yrs ago for my grandson. His was light blue. The teddy bear and blocks were three times the size. Looks like Lafrenaie is out to make money and losing quality.
