On a whim, we stopped by this coffee roaster and cafe on our way home from visiting a friend outside Cedarville. So glad we did. We are mocha connoisseurs and didn't have high expectations. I will happily admit we were very wrong. Les Cheneaux opened their new building, right on the water, in January. It is beautiful; warm, spacious, contemporary and inviting. Plenty of room to sit, relax and gather with friends. And their deck. Wow. Beautiful waterfront views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Felt right at home. We ordered 16 oz mochas in mugs. They were steamy hot, creamy and beautiful. The taste was rich and smooth without being too sweet; just the way we like them. After viewing another customer's breakfast burrito, we decided to each try them. The food menu is limited to bagels, bagel egg sandwiches and burritos. We had the chorizo egg burrito with potatoes. It was excellent. With a small park next door, a library across the street and plenty of room to stretch your legs and walk along the water's edge, this cafe is a winner. We are already planning a return visit that will include daily visits to Lesl Cheneaux Coffee Roasters. Next trip, we will purchase beans and bring the good flavors home with us. read more

We love this place and their coffee. My favorite is an iced mocha with oat milk. Dave and Jen do it right and I love getting the local fish reports here from Dave and the other locals. Great indoor and outdoor seating and WiFi too. I even order their beans to be shipped to California when we aren't at our cabin in Cedarville. read more

I feel like I have written this review 5 times since my visit, as I cannot get this little shop out of my head. I trekked up with a gf to her cabin to haul back a boat over the weekend. Just a quick trip with my gal pal so she didn't ride alone. When we came through town, she pointed out the coffee shop and said it's her go-to spot when at their cabin. Ok - had to try it. Clearly the word is out, since the line was almost out the door when we arrived for coffee the next morning. Easy to park, but not on a main road. Wrap around porch provided plenty of distanced seating. Since they have coffee and a few baked items, patrons were coming and going. It was easy enough to find a seat. We ordered our coffees and shared a slice of some blueberry item that was excellent. The latte was so good, I went back for another. I know that options are limited in this small town but man is this place a homerun. They have some Michigan Art works on the walls for sale. A few snacks and other drinks too. Definitely a must-spot for coffee when nearby. I don't know that you will get better than this even if you were able to find a Starbucks. It's that good, for sure. read more

What a welcome addition to Cedarville! High quality house-roasted brews, fresh and homemade baked goods (like scones, cinnamon rolls, biscotti), and the perfect friendly community feel of your favorite local coffee shop. The owners, David and Jennifer Gough, have been roasting for a few years and opened the shop here in April. Chances are you will see them working in the shop and good thing too, because they are friendly and fun to talk to. They plan to be open year-round - woohoo! So glad to also see their coffee served at the distillery restaurant across the street and sold at some local stores. The coffee is very good. We tried the Sumatra and the Brazilian blends which were both excellent, smooth, and drinkable, and came with a full description of tasting notes from David. The shop itself is bright and clean and has free internet. Plenty of seating and tables. There are mugs and bags of coffee and other merchandise for sale. Parking next to the shop in the dirt lot. Accepts credit cards. LC Coffee Co. fills a great need in this community and I am so glad locals and tourists alike have a place to gather and enjoy great coffee. read more

What a happy find in Cedarville. I'd been trying to stop by over the last few years; but their closing at 2p often was far before when I was passing through. Finally got a chance to stop in and was delighted. Small but cozy interior is complemented by an expansive and gorgeous outside patio. Beans roasted on-site, and the orders we got were immaculately roasted and well-prepared. I'd love to see them open a bit later in the day; but the general ambiance and excellent drink pull means I'll eagerly be back when it's possible. A lovely local business in Cedarville. read more

A beautiful Saturday morning visiting picturesque Cedarville was made even better by a stop off at Les Cheneaux Roasters. Their cute cafe features their own ground coffee and they also offer smoothies and tea. A new favorite drink of mine is a miel and I was pleased to see that on their menu as well. We've been visiting Cedarville every summer for a few years now and are happy to have a coffee shop within walking distance of the cottages now. This is a good addition to the area, that's for sure! First day we visited was a Sunday morning and the place was PACKED. Perhaps that's their norm for the weekend, but it could also be partially from the wooden boat show being that weekend. Either way, we were glad to see it busy. The amount of customers didn't slow down the making of our drinks. I ordered an almond milk miel, my go-to drink anywhere. Solid, but not a fan of the type of almond milk that was used. Second day I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, regular milk. Absolutely delicious and would order again. They also have house made biscotti, blueberry coffee cake, and blackberry coffee cake. read more
