Les Ailes is an excellent kosher restaurant, offering very good food in central Paris. When we went a couple of years ago, you could prebook dinner on Friday night and/or lunch on Saturday.
Friday night dinner consisted of a plethora of delicious North African starters (about 16 or so) served in small square dishes which were varied and tasty. Then came spicy fish, followed by couscous with veal or chicken (or perhaps lamb) and vegetables served over the couscous in the stew juices. All this was very delicious, and came with a bottle of good red or white wine. Per person, the price was well worth what we ate: about €40 for the multiple courses. We were so full we couldn't finish the couscous and had little room for what seemed like very good desserts that were also included.
They may have stopped serving prebooked meals on Friday night/Saturday lunch, though, so check before you count on going there rather than making other arrangements. read more
