Lots of typical sweets, products and snacks from Portugal. My son and I had Caldo Verde soup - rich and creamy. It really hit the door on a cool afternoon. We shared a Doce de Belêm dessert - we devoured this thing in 15 seconds. So good! I had a coffee with foamed mild and it was great. The incense selection is quite big with the same scents from a few manufacturers. They have copper mugs and travel bottles. The store itself is not so huge but its definitely packed with a large variety. I will absolutely be back here and I totally urge you to check it out and have a look, don't be afraid to try something new!

Shopping at Velan is always an educational experience as well. There are so many amazing foods to discover, and often finding the ingredients in French can be a challenge if you're used to the name in English. For example, we had to ask three different people where the dried Kaffir lime leaf was (it's feuilles de kokumba in French) since we had no idea what it was called. It was actually another shopper that steered us in the right direction.

Went here in September 2025…read more Such a fun place. Think of the times you've been to a bar where the person making your drink really put their all into it. That's this place. Go see for yourselves. We liked it so much. It was our planned stop in route to Moulin Rouge, and that proved to us that we just had to bring our tribe with us on the way back. That's right. It was good, but I'd say it wasn't crazy strong. My wife got the Miami Vice Negroni and we both thought it was meh. Being as you're in Montmartre, there are plenty of bars to visit. I'd definitely make Dirty Dick a spot to visit if you're doing a crawl.
