First impressions were not the greatest. The place has a musty, is-this-what-black-mold-smells-like kind of an odor.
I, personally, liked my meal though. As did everyone else who ordered an a-la-cart item. The lamb and the brochette were delicious. But several of the folks that ordered off the prix-fixe menu were disappointed.
One of the few options on the prix-fixe menu was pork. It was a generous slice of ham but after a while the ham started to feel more like a bland item eating challenge rather than an enjoyable menu offering. There was one large forkful of salad that was also included as was about two pounds of french fries and three scoops of ice cream. Not enough to satisfy when the entree has become tedious.
So, if you get a lamb item off the a-la-cart menu and get it to go, you may love this place. If not, you may not. read more
