I contacted FPCA via their portal and asked for a detailed bill which took a couple of tries. After reviewing the billing, I still couldn't understand why I had a bill for my annual physical which is 100% covered. So, I spoke with someone in FPCA billing, and I was told that since a regular prescription I take every day was refilled during my visit, this constituted as an additional visit. In all the years I have been going to them, I have never been billed for an extra visit for the doctor entering a prescription refill for me, and I wasn't told during the visit that I would be charged for two visits. I find this HIGHLY DECEPTIVE. I cannot recommend FPCA and I will be looking for another provider outside of FPCA.

But then they isolated me in a separate room with a large industrial grade hepa filter and basically treated me like a leper. Seems to be a huge over reaction as we are not in any kind of pandemic. They were extremely rude and irritated when I asked them about it. Additionally, when I was sick over the last 2 weeks, they refused to see me, couldn't get a sick appointment. Requested to see the manager during my visit today and was told prior to the visit that he would be there and it would be no problem to meet with him. Of course he wasn't there when I was there. Additionally, the doctor asked if there was anything else I would like to talk about. I mentioned that was having some trouble sleeping. And we talked briefly.(No more than 2-3 Minutes about that subject) The office charged me for a second visit for that brief conversation. And would not remove the charges, even when I objected. I cannot stress enough that you should avoid this doctors office. They are very clearly not interested in inpatient care, and simply interested in a profit. There are too many other doctors in this area for you to waste your time and money with a location like this
