Not very Common for a market!!…read more Everything here is exceptional. I love all the fruit, I literally just ate a peach and was so compelled to write about it. The staff, while is mostly comprised of college age hippies are knowledgeable and actually care. The whole store is very clean and the meat counter while very small screams old school home made!! The sausages looked so good I had to buy some, and after cooking them up with some onions and peppers my neighbors above me who are vegans were peeking as they chewed their grass and had to rethink their decisions on eating food that my food eats. There are fresh made sandwiches that they will press for you and give it that grilled awesomeness that only comes when your doing something special with meat and cheese and good bread pressed with 400 degrees of steel resulting in a sandwich that makes you want to light a subway franchise on fire. Now on my most recent trip, covid is rampantly knocking off people so a lot of the fun stuff has been put away. Normally they have fresh cooked food that you can box up hot and take and eat. The selection ranges from American favorites like loaf of meat and spaghetti to Indian food to soups and salads ( spinach salad is good, the dressing makes it the bomb dot com ) and fresh cookies and breads oh my. ( Public Notice: no lions or tigers ) You will spend more money per item here than Walmart. They don't have as good of a selection as Wegman's. They don't have a coupon app thingy that makes you think your saving money like everyone else. But you will feel like your saving baby seals and once you leave and start to load stuff into your vehicle a rabbit will wink at you in a attempt to say thank you. The lesson here is pay more money for food that tastes like food and not canned crap. Yes, we all like to save money, and that's noble. But there is a time to eat your extra long chili cheese coney ( much love sonic ) and there is a time to bite into a peach and feel like your a little kid again and have wonderful sweet juice roll off your chin and life is once again, is worth living. Stay hungry my friends, - JW

Frederick Natural Health Center - Dr. Russell helps savvy women to balance their hormones naturally so they can have more energy, less stress, and confidence again.

As a relatively healthy woman from the baby boomer generation, in 2015, with no genetic history of…read morecancer in my family, I was diagnosed with a rare form of endometrial cancer. After a complete hysterectomy and minimal follow-up treatment (without radiation), I enjoyed three years of clean health. Then in 2018, I started having digestive issues, acid reflux, insomnia, burning sensations in legs, abdomen, back and face. I was probed, scanned, had multiple blood tests and referred to many specialists. My auto-immune thyroid numbers were through the roof, I was told I was under stress and that I should try counseling. I was prescribed medication for the acid reflux, medication for sleep and told that eventually I would need to be on medication for my thyroid as well. I used the acid reflux meds for two years, and tried the sleep meds to no avail. I was a mess, my symptoms were getting worse and were a huge disruption to my life and I refused to accept the fact that taking medications were my only way forward. While reading an article in one of my local magazines about boosting your immunity through natural remedies, I was introduced to Dr. Ashley Russell, who was a contributor to the article. I decided it was time to forge a new path. The discovery that her office was only five minutes from my house was a sign from the universe that I had to go and see her. To keep this story brief but poignant, Dr. Russell ran tests that none of my other doctors even thought of and was able to figure out the root cause of all of my symptoms, which she treated gently, using natural supplements, nutritional guidelines and suggestions for mind/body practices. Slowly but surely, all of my symptoms quieted down (and went away), sleep returned and my thyroid numbers came under control. Dr. Russell treats the whole body, not just the symptoms. She gives you the time to speak, she takes the time to listen and learn about you as a person. She cares about your whole body health and not about selling quick fixes or products in general. Dr. Russell helped me regain my quality of life and since 2021, Dr. Russell continues to be my first choice when it comes to my healthcare.

It has admittedly taken me a long time to write a review for Dr. Russell as I don't even know where…read moreto begin with how much she has helped me in the course of being one of her patients for the last year and a half. From the beginning, Dr. Russell understood my concern and understood why it was important to me to find more natural solutions to address the issue that I came to her with. From the very beginning, Dr. Russell's approach was different and refreshing. At our first meeting we discussed the reason why I initially sought her care, but then discussed where I was at as a person and uncovered that I really had multiple goals that I was wanting to address. She ordered a health panel and carefully walked me through understanding all the numbers---something no doctor had other done before with me. She answered all my questions thoughtfully and provided resources to help me better reach my personal health goals. The other thing that Dr. Russell makes clear from the beginning is that she wants you to be an active participant in your health and she really means it. She doesn't get offended when I ask questions and doesn't think that I am questioning her expertise or professional opinion. She understands how important it is to me to be involved and fully understand different options, and she facilitates this understanding. In short, Dr. Russell is a truly caring health professional that fully supports her patients. She is respectful, non-judgmental, attentive, and smart. To Dr. Russell you are not a number, but actually a person that she truly cares about. She remembers what you talk about from visit to visit and helps you be accountable toward reaching your personal health goals. During COVID, we have been having virtual telehealth visits that have been seamless. I feel very fortunate to be one of her patients and cannot recommend her highly enough.

He helps you break away from the pain-adjustment-pain-adjustment cycle. I was suffering from a stiff neck and rock-like shoulder muscles. Luckily, my brother sent me to Dr. Berry. Variable pattern electro-stimulation and heat before chiropractic manipulation and a successful adjustment started me feeling better immediately . Then Dr. Berry taught me exercises so that I could strengthen my back and take the stress off my overworked shoulder muscles. Dr. Berry is an excellent teacher. First he demonstrated each exercise, inviting me to place my hands on his back so I could feel exactly which muscles I am to target. Then he had me do the exercise while he provided pointers on form. And finally, he patiently answered all of my questions as I took notes so I could duplicate the results at home. Dr. Berry's motto is "Move better, feel better, live better." He doesn't just say it. He means it - and he can teach you how.

In addition to in-office treatments, Dr Berry taught me stretches and strengthening movements to do at home to facilitate pain relief and strengthen my body to prevent future pain.

She was released directly onto the street with no assistance or transportation. My mother was later found this morning (November 20, 2025) at her own front doorstep, having spent approximately 15 hours outside overnight. She was sleeping on her front porch with nothing but a thin blanket to keep her warm. The temperatures fell below 40 degrees last night. This is not only unacceptable--it is dangerous, negligent, and inhumane. When I contacted the hospital this morning, staff refused to provide any information regarding her discharge, her condition, or the doctor's evaluation. I have filed a formal complaint, yet no one from the hospital has followed up with me. This level of disregard for a vulnerable elderly patient's safety raises serious concerns about the conduct of both the attending physician and the hospital staff. We will be contacting the appropriate authorities to pursue this matter further and ensure accountability.
