Pleasant staff greeted us upon arrival and the genial vibe continued throughout our meal. Props to Paige for great service during an obviously busy Saturday morning. Quaint decor and quality service gave me high hopes that the meal would be a winner, too...and it was! Dishes were served hot and perfectly plated...and the first bite sealed the deal: Delicious! Flavor development and fresh tastes met me bite after bite...excellent in every way! If mild coffee is the way you enjoy your coffee, you'll enjoy their coffee...I prefer a more robust blend and missed it the table with the symphony of other great flavors. The carefully clean dining room and bathrooms tell me that management covers all facets of running a great restaurant...kudos! Maybe you prefer one slice corn beef but that is not typical of a reuben and the slice was tuff. Should be made with several thin tender slices. My husband did not like his fries and his hash was not made like other homemade hash we enjoy. We have always loved your flowers and the severs attention but the food this time was a huge let down.

While I was not charged for the meal, I wouldn't have paid for it even if I had to. There's simply no way I could bring myself to eat here again. Curiously, my husband ordered a similar omelette, but his came out perfectly yellow and appetizing, along with toast that was actually edible. This made me wonder if my request not to burn my food inadvertently insulted the cook, leading to my meal being intentionally scorched. After sending the dish back, I received not a word of apology or even an offer to prepare something else. It was a complete lack of customer service. This review, without a doubt, has to be the most negative I've ever written. Normally, I refrain from posting bad reviews because I understand that everyone can have an off day. If a restaurant attempts to rectify their mistakes, I tend to be forgiving. But in this case, the food was nothing short of garbage on a plate, and the indifference from the staff was glaring.

This whole meal is amazing and I would visit Ripple & Company just to eat this exact thing again. I visited with people who ate at Ripple & Company quite frequently, and they got their favorites: The Black & Gold Pub Burger, and the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. That was disappointing on its own, especially since this has been one of my favorite coffee shops and I've brought plenty of friends, neighbors, and even visiting family here to support the business. What truly drops this review to one star, however, was the shocking response I received from one of the employees. She cussed me out, yelled, flipped me off, threatened to call the cops on me, and screamed for me to never come back--all while I had my baby with me. I've never experienced such unprofessional treatment from a business. I can only hope the owner reviews the cameras from this incident and takes the matter seriously. Sadly, I will no longer be returning or recommending this café to others.
