In their…read moresystem the ride showed for the next day a full 36 hours from when the booking was made but my credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY When I called and ended up canceling the ride it was exactly 24 hours from the booking. The dispatcher told me he would cancel the ride and provide a refund. I emailed the next day about the refund, ended up getting a phone call back from the manage, Gary, who told me they had a policy that didn't allow for cancellations inside of 24 hours. Keep in mind the cancellation occurred exactly 24 hours out. Having said that the manager said he would refund my ride MINUS $18 for credit card processing fees which is crap but I was willing to take what I could get as the total ride was $252. Rather be out $230 than $250!! It is a week later and 2 emails later still no refund and no response from the business!!! Plenty of car service options in Brick and the surrounding areas, buyer beware on this one!! In this case one would be better with an Uber!

I called for pick up service from a local hotel. They arrived with in 5 minutes, but with another passenger. The mini van was sputtering and barely running. Not to mention we were dressed for a wedding, there was a heat wave and he wouldn't turn on the AC. We were instructed to get in on the other side because the passenger side door was broken. We told the driver we were going to The Breakers in spring lake. He told us he needed exact change because he just started his shift. He took us to the Berkely in Asbury and insisted it was our stop. Upon clarifying that it was the wrong location he tried to charge us more. At this point, the gackling women (presumably a prostitute) in the back decided she was getting out. The driver told us had to stop for gas and would need our fair to pay for the tank. At this point we were several miles out of the way from our reception and late. The driver proceeded to speed and disregard several pedestrian cross walks on the pedestrian heavy ocean ave, as well as irradically pass several cars in a no passing zone, sometimes head on into traffic!. I was certain if we didn't die, someone else would. Do yourself a favor and NEVER USE NEPTUNE TAXI!!! Awful service. Junk cars. Untimely travel. Dangerous ignorant drivers.
