It's…read moreright in the middle of downtown, surrounded by restaurants and bars, with plenty of parking nearby. I stopped in during the seasonal flavor changeover, so they were running low on a few options. The server told me they were restocking the new flavors the next day. I was hoping to try the vanilla lavender, but I'll have to save that for another visit. Instead, I went with the butter pecan crunch, which the server said is their best-selling flavor. It had a rich, creamy texture, though I thought it could have used a little more flavor. The richness was just on the edge of being a bit too heavy, but it was still a good scoop of ice cream. As I was leaving, a large family was enjoying ice cream together, and it reinforced the feeling that this is a neighborhood spot locals genuinely support. I always enjoy finding local ice cream shops when I travel, and Wild Honey is worth a stop if you're in downtown Longview.

Well I treated a friend to a meal on the 25th day of July and purchased 2 Fish plates that come with 4 pieces of fish your choice of sides specific sides or substitutes are added with an upcharge not a problem here is where I am upset and not pleased with what I received! The order went from; 1. $11.00 and some change + tax now to $18 + tax 2. This Fish that is said to be Catfish is SWAI (if eaten fresh and hot you won't know if your not a avid fisherman or fish eater) 3. The Filets are cut in four pieces ( 1 filet cut into 4 strips) and has been done this way for years and the price continues to rise and (it's not Farm Raised Catfish) Unbelievable! Your sold a 4 piece for $18 +tax but you are actually getting 1 Filet I have recommended the Restaurant to many people family and friends because they were the only place in town serving REAL CATFISH FILETS but not anymore! As soon as we stepped inside, you could smell the sweetness of the ice cream, waffle cones, and all the candy displayed around the shop! While we were checking out the ice cream options, we were greeted and asked what we'd like. We both went with one scoop: my wife chose the Michigan Pothole, which was super chocolatey and loaded with tasty chocolate bits, and I got the butter pecan in a waffle cone--and wow, that was a huge scoop! Both ice creams were creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. We also picked up a Sky Bar, which is such a cool candy bar with four different fillings in one! We'll definitely be back to try more flavors and other goodies. Highly recommend!
