I have been here 3 times over the years. Every time has been a great experience. Bito is the man, he is super chill, very patient and very accommodating. read more

Amazing haircut ! Kevin did a great job and paid attention to details. I'd deff come back again !

Kwani's attention to detail is impeccable, best barber I know. Have a consult with him and you'll know you'll leave happy. He's also really knowledgeable on hair care and recommended the best way to take care of and style my hair at home. read more

First time I had been to a barber in at least three years, possibly longer. I like my hair long, but it needed a deep trim and refresh. I wanted an unpretentious place nearby and something more than a "hole-in-the-wall." I liked that Leon's emphasized "Men's" Hair Care. I popped on over after my gym workout. I had not made an appointment, but my wait did not last more than five minutes. The establishment is spacious and there were several barbers working on their craft while amicably chatting with their clients. Since I had not been to a barber in several years, I was a little apprehensive about whether I could communicate clearly what it was that I wanted. Fortunately, my barber understood exactly where I was coming from and gave me exactly the cut I hoped for. It is a blessing to have a neighborhood barber shop employing people clients can trust. I will be back. read more

Got a excellent cut from ERIC very thorough A good listener when describing the cut you want read more

I went on the website at night and put myself on their waitlist for the next day. They told me I was #3 in line. The next morning I got a text update that I was next so I went to Leon's and clicked on the link that lets them know that I am at their location. I walk inside and tell them that I'm here and they tell me that they don't use the whitelisting system on their website and there's only one person working and he's booked for the day. Too complicated of a system, probably won't be going back there read more

First haircut at Leon's today. Made an appointment online, was taken promptly. Friendly, clean and Covid vaccinated barbers. Alex gave me an excellent haircut. Will be back! read more

I went in today to get my head shaved and beard trimmed. Mike did an outstanding job. He was precise and patient and I left with zero irritation! Prices were very reasonable and everyone working inside was very friendly. I've found my new spot! read more

Probably the best place to get a haircut in the island park, long beach, rvc, Oceanside area. I realize I'm rather bald, but trust me, if I had hair I'd be leaving this joint looking like Clooney. I coughed while having my head shaved, and he said "good thing I'm not doing anything fancy, I would've messed up." "i don't think you could do anything too fancy- I dont have a lot of options." "nah everyones got options." So I told him I'd be growing my receding hairline out and seeing him in the winter to see what options I have. The gauntlet has been thrown down. Pros of this place: price- very reasonable. Lots of chairs staffed at all times so touring wait that long. Some people may be waiting for their favorite stylist- so if you're flexible about who you see, youll do fine in here, time wise. Professional, clean place. Parking is decent. The staff is young so you can talk to them about partying and traveling and girls- it's not like your family barber where you have to pretend to give a shit about the weather. read more

Leon and his dad Alex are fantastic people and great at cutting hair. Me and my two boys have been going to Leon for several years. They are very meticulous and spend a lot of time with each customer. You are getting a $40 haircut for under $10.00 I keep telling Leon to raise his prices because he is worth it. I have spent $40 at a hair salon and they did not do as good of a job as Leon. read more

Excellent customer service. The staff really listens to your requests! Waiting for Leon can actually be a chore, but the other barbers are up to the task! read more

Straight to the point... Best barber in LI. All the barbers are on point. All good dudes. I personally wait for Leon himself. Worth the wait if (when) there is one. If you find another barber you like, shouldn't be much of a wait. Tip: If you want Leon, can call ahead, see how many he's got waiting. read more

I've been going here since they open and whenever I'm back I town I make sure I stop in for a cut. The haircuts are really adorable and they do amazing work! there is a reason why there's always a wait there its bc they give the best hair cuts In long island read more

Got my hair cut by Alex, this was my first time here and have to say he was awesome, haircut was great and I will definitely be returning

Just got out of a great haircut here. Alex (the younger one) gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I'm was passing through the area and a family friend recommended this place - and it was a great choice. Detailed and friendly guy. Exactly what you want. read more

100% the best place for a haircut. Neat clean and professional barbers are polite courteous and detail oriented. read more

Natan was excellent. As a first timer, I wasn't sure what to expect. Natan immediately sat me down and took me without an appointment. His attention to detail and ability to connect with me really resonated and made for an overall great experience. I normally get the short end of the Yelp stick, but the experience was so good I had to write a review! If you're going in for a cut, make sure you do two things: 1) Ask for Natan 2) Bring cash (as they only have a ATM machine and do not accept credit cards) read more

So yeah, I'm typically tight with my five stars reviews but this place earns it in my book. 3 times there now after floating looking for a barber to do a proper haircut with good fading ability and a proper old school finish that I like. Each time i've been pleasantly surprised with the quality and care put into my cut. As well I have closely watched all of their barbers doing their craft and it was skillful and methodical. Excellent shop and for 12 bucks for a salon quality cut... 14 for a razor fade it's am amazing value. read more

By far the best haircut I've ever gotten. When I first moved to Long Island 2 years ago I would travel back to astoria to go to my familiar place. What a pain in the ass it was, my cousin turned me onto Leon's and I haven't looked back since. Sure you can wait a while If you want one of the popular barbers. But it is absolutely worth the wait. Leon in particular doesn't put his scissor down until every hair is cut perfectly, he used a straight razor on my head to allow the hair to grow more healthy, I've been to a lot of barbers and never had that done.. He also does MANicures and pedicures for men waxing eyebrows and whatnot for those of you that are into that. read more

Got a haircut and a shave. The haircut was amazing, really great value for the skill. The shave on the other hand they should not even offer to do, I have never seen my face more bloody. So if you love razor burns and bruising this is the place for you. One last annoyance they have 6 tv's all on the same channel, somehow the audio is out of sync which makes it seem like an terrible echo. read more

Very good haircuts. They definitely take care of you. Leon and Alex do the best job there, haven't had any of the new guys cut my hair.

As someone who has used many barber shops in the area, I have finally found one with the quality and consistency that I look forward to when needing a hair cut. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the guys always make you feel very welcome. The barbers are all trained to perform all different types of hair styles and I can truly say that I know that I am getting a quality cut that I can be proud of when going to Leon's. The prices are also extremley fair in comparison to many barbers/salons I have been to previously. If you want that "fresh cut" feeling when leaving your barber than I would highly suggest going to Leon's. read more

This place is a huge disappointment because they do great cuts but the barbers are unorganized and extremely slow, They talk way to much which slows down their work and keeps people waiting even longer. The phone is always ringing and the barbers are constantly stoping to answer it. Good luck trying to get your haircut on a weekend because like clock work they will have 15 people waiting and 2 barbers working. Make sure your phone is fully charged because if not your going to die from boredom while waiting for your turn. Word of advice to the owner, employ more barber and renovate the place to accommodate your clients. read more

I've been living in the area for over a year, and finally found this great place for a fantastic haircut. I definitely recommend!! They pay attention to details and do a great job!!! read more

This is a great barber shop and the reviews are spot on. Every barber I have seen has done a great job. My favorite is the older gentleman in the front that seems to always be the one working when i come in. His attention to detail and his expert cuts make me a regular. I would definitely recommend as you get a great cut for a cheap price. read more

If you like waiting over an hour no matter what time of day, this is your place. Every time I come here there's ridiculous waits because "someone called out." They really give great haircuts, but I will definitely not be coming back here again. read more

Walked in here looking to get a haircut in a decent amount of time, not a good experience. If the barbers don't know you and your not a "regular" then you'll have to wait behind people, especially people who got there AFTER you. All the guys in there were getting a the typical "guido fade" which makes me think that the barbers don't know how to do any other styles. I sat there for almost 2 hours and was not even greeted and went unrecognized waiting for a haircut. At one point in the middle of a haircut the barber received a phone call and walked away from his customer for almost 25 minutes, just laughing on the phone carrying on a playful convo. Overall not a good experience at a barbershop with many chairs. And why does ever guy in this place get the SAME haircut!! read more

Best barbershop on Long Island. Always clean and always know I am going to walk out looking really fresh. All the barbers are on there stuff here, and up to date with current styles and trends. read more

I love going to Erik! He does a great job on my beard (not much hair on my head to speak of) but the service is great! I wish they would turn off the tv's....too much politics on the screen as I am waiting. read more

So about 2 months ago my hair started to thin out on the top of my head and I got very worried. I've been going to Leon's for like 7 years now and they have always took care of me. When Leon saw what was hopping he told me not to worry and would help me grow it back. So after 2 months of Leon doing a special hair cut on my hair I'm not going to lie we have seen amazing progress. He has a special technique of using a razor on my hair to cut it that it is helping the area to regrow the hair. Onto of that this special garlic shampoo he gave me is doing the trick. I suggest to anyone having this problem to go check out Leon's and see what he can do for you. read more

Let me first say that Leons is by far the best place to go for a quality, great haircut. Leon doesn't just cut my hair he's my personal therapist. I can go there and talk about what's going on while getting the best haircut around. All the guys there are the best at what they do and they take pride in their profession. When i leave Leons, I don't just leave with a Great cut, I leave with an image....and everybody needs a great image. read more

I got a hair cut from the younger kid and he completely disregarded what type of style I wanted and every time he got hair on his watch he would pause for about 30 seconds to get the hair off his Watch. Cared more about his Watch then the customers. Awful haircut too read more

Took a gamble and randomly went with barber Ariel and he gave me a great haircut especially for the price. Moving forward he will be my go to barber. read more

This is the best barber shop I've been to on Long Island. I've had my hair cut by Leon, Lev and a couple of other barbers and every haircut turned out perfect. These guys know what looks good and always deliver. They all spend time with each customer making sure everything looks good, not just rushing through cuts. Leon's deserves 5 stars. read more

Best haircut and shave I've ever received. I feel that the price they charge for the high quality haircut I receive is unbelievable. They pay attention to fine detail and truly care about creating a style that makes me look fantastic. After my first haircut here, I switched barbers and consistently came here ever since. Ask for Alex. read more

Had Erik who did an awesome job with my hair. The place was busy but has a good atmosphere. Great value for the price!

I feel bad about writing this review because the guy who cut my hair was a likable guy however the haircut was pretty horrible. Very uneven , not anywhere close to how I explained I wanted. The left side is much longer then the right .. And took forever. You can tell a couple of these guys are new to the game because the old timers kept telling them what to do. read more

Wasn't happy at all I got charged 25$ for a shadow fade and I told the barber not to touch my hair on the top and only the sides of my head were cut and I was overcharged. The guy who sits next to the lady on the left when you walk in is ridiculous. His hair cut was very average and I was very upset of the price he is not worth 25$ I normally pay 15 $ in Kennesaw for the exact same cut. I'm never coming back because of that one hustling barber! I am a college student and can not afford this type of barber. I understand their is a booth fee but come on man you just can't kill college kids pockets! I rather learn to cut it myself because I am tired of hustling barbers. read more

I've been going to Leon's for a few months now and I consistently get the best hair cut I've ever gotten. Leon is more then just a typical barber. He is a true stylist.
