I unfortunately drive about four and a half hours to deal with this peoe each way just because of an online search for he cat I wanted which they sold me a 23k car with absolutely no warranty at all as is. assured it was a good car which it isn't and engine is already missin on it and sos malfunction light is already on just three weeks after I had gotten it. the worste part is they k ew I lived in a different state and needed my taxes figured into the loan after they took all the cash had saved up for a down payment. and stuck me waitin on a title they never sent and said they would try do this and that and didn't do anything at all. my finance company even called them about it and was like why is this like this and they gave us both the run around. my dmv demanded them to send me another temporary tag which they lied about that too. now I'm stuck with a car I have put around. 7-8 thousand into that is basically not running not even nearly as good as it should be worried about it tearing up and I can't even pay the taxes to get it tagged becauwe of them lying to me avoiding me and just being the quested place to deal with ever. it has been a nightmare. now I'm going to have to end up trading this car in only to spend about 20 k more to get a better car because of these people and how they handled the whole experience. u shouldn't have to worry bout all of this after spending 23000 on a car. i feel like they may have been aware that the car was not gonna be running very good for very long.

He had stated that his work came with a 90 warranty, but he did not follow through on returning to look at the issue after I reached out. I had to move the vehicle to a public parking area because the leak continued and the transmission fluid level was extremely low afterward. This was my experience, and I'm sharing it so others can make an informed decision.

There were a couple service companies that either had other calls or did not want to tow us the 80 miles. I can't say enough good things about Hensley's towing and recovery out of Bucyrus, Ohio. Once they received our info which actually came from the Ohio State Patrol, they reached us within 30 minutes. Jim, the tow driver, was awesome and helped immediately and got our vehicle back home. I really appreciate the service that Hensley's gave and the willingness to tow our vehicle the 80 miles on a Sunday evening when other companies bailed out.

He was excited to take the challenge and learn along the way. The job reached a point where it required tools that we do not have. He knew he needed help so he called our local shop, S&S. We wanted to support an independent, small business in our town. The Owner showed up with a flatbed while my son was still bolting the wheel on. The Owner climbed under the front wheel without being asked, to bolt the tie rod back on. It seemed like good customer service at the time. He took the car and we waited for a call with an estimate. The call never came. The next day they called my son to tell him his car was done, and handed him a bill for $646.10. The Owner charged my son $175 to tow his car 2 blocks to his own shop where they did the work without first discussing with my son what it would cost. My son bought all the parts, they were in the car. My son did 90% of the tear down, with the right tools, which I assume they have, it would have been a 2 hour task at most to install the new axle in and put it all back together. They charged $100 hr, and insisted it took them 4 hours. When I questioned the desk attendant, he told us the owner told him he had to crawl under my son's car and do all kinds of work just to get it on the tow truck. He tightened a bolt. It was 2 minutes of his time, and no one asked him to do it. This is about character. If they're willing to take advantage of a 19 year old young man, how do you think they will treat you, your son, your daughter or your wife?

After circling around the area, we stumbled upon Carlton's Service hoping for assistance. We spoke to a man named Paul who directed us to Rall's. We thank him very much to this day for sending us to Rall's--he even called to make sure we found the place. Rall's checked out our car politely and urgently. After realizing we might have a transmission issue, one of the mechanics came in and thoroughly explained the issue. Transmissions are a pain; a very expensive one. He explained that he could flush our systems but it may not make it better, in fact it could further damage the vehicle. He said he did not feel comfortable doing work to our car that he couldn't exactly pin point. They didn't even charge us for inspecting our car. Absolutely amazing men and service! I've never met more honest and genuine mechanics!
